Many thanks to the parents who have emailed in with their views on 100% Attendance Certificates. It’s fair to say that views are mixed with some parents appreciating the reward for 100% attendance and others feeling strongly against them – sometimes we get ill or have an absence for another good reason. The School Council have given further feedback and all agree they would prefer a reward for the class with the highest attendance for the term, rather than individual certificates. Dear Parents and Carers

Once again a huge ‘Well Done’ to the Swimming Team in winning the Gala and thank

you to Mr Wigley, Mr McNicholas, Miss Collister and all the parents for supporting the

children. The Girls Football team did very well to have a place in the West Midlands

Football Finals. Although they didn’t win, being in the finals was an achievement and

I’m sure they had fun accompanied by Mrs Stonehill and parents. Many thanks to the

parents who have emailed in with their views on 100% Attendance Certificates. It’s fair

to say that views are mixed with some parents appreciating the reward for 100%

attendance and others feeling strongly against them – sometimes we get ill or have an

absence for another good reason. The School Council have given further feedback and

all agree they would prefer a reward for the class with the highest attendance for the

term, rather than individual certificates. Mrs Whitehead

School uniform for boys and girls

includes black shoes. Trainers and

plimsoles should not be worn.

Having fun and learning

new skills at Bluebirds.

At Bluebirds the children can access a

range of enjoyable indoor and outdoor

activities. Sometimes it might be a game of

football, a box of lego to build with or

making a picture. In this case, the children

are learning how to crochet. Many thanks to

Miss Gouldney for showing the children

how to crochet and well done to all the

children involved.
