    The Life of Mandela

You are the voice of freedom.

You gave hope to ones who weep.

    You chose to love,

not hate the ones who exiled you,

You chose to help and rise.

You are the embodiment of peace.

You are the one who dreams of justice.

You are the mouth of the people,

yet you encourage others to speak.

You are enlightened by peace and hope.

You are a magnet to equality.

    Even though you are gone,

    others follow your footsteps,

    your brethren,

the guardians of your hopes and dreams,

    your children of the world.

    Nelson Mandela

To them you are a pathetic village boy,

to the people you are hope.

They try to take control but you stand tall with dignity

What they do cant penetrate your determination,

a bird in a cage always has hope for another day.

You are shipped across the seas,

they think theyve won, but your power overthrows them.

In the end you have great power but you wont let that separate you

    from love.

    South Africa,

South Africa owes deep respect to you forever.

    Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela stood up high, and he sacrificed his life until apartheid stopped.

He had a long journey through his life, and even became the president of South Africa.

There should be equality in this world in this world, not only one side.

So then the courageous hopeful person realized there should be no racism.

Not just to himself, he gave every single one a voice.

And since he was respectful to all people, he was respected to you.

Now, the war between black and white stopped because of him, the remarkable NelsonMandela.

Even though he was like a cat trapped in a cage for a long time, he changed the world.

    Nelson Mandela

You a heroic man fought for what you believed,

You sacrificed your freedom for many others.

You are Madiba to your country and to all,

You chose to love not hate the people who abandoned you.

You never let an opportunity go by without an act,

You gave right to all white or black.

You fought for justice with passion and dignity,

You ask for trouble, however for good.

You moved from prison to President,

Nelson Mandela a man to all human.

    Nelson Mandela's poem

On 1918 a man called Nelson Mandela stepped into the world,

He lived through life with a strong belief,

Everyone should have voice no matter who you are,

He had freedom and determination to never give up,

He had compassion and humanity in everything he does,

He had a long journey from prison to president,

Trying to keep his belief shining he walked his way through life,

And here he is on the day that his journey ended with peace.

    Nelson Mandela's Walk For Freedom

You are a person who believed in yourself,

A person who fights for your own country,

    You the Madiba of peace,

A person who sacrifices your own freedom to help others,

You a person who never gives up and never let go of an opputtunity,

A person shares your power evenly to give everyone a voice to speak up,

You a person who loves your people and does not hate,

A person who didn't fear the whites,

You a person locked in a cage with no way out,

Nelson Mandela the King of Justice.

Nelson Mandela Was No Ordinary Man

Nelson Mandela was no ordinary man,

    He fought with no regret

He never gave up on what he believed,

    His words defeated all,

His dignity and courage just covered others in sand,

Nelson Mandela was no ordinary man.

    Nelson Mandela fought for freedom,

Others fought for no good reason,

Nelson Mandela never meant to hurt them,

His words were just to powerful,

He spread democracy just like jam on toast,

Nelson Mandela was no ordinary man.

    Although he was humiliated,

    His heart completed the puzzle,

    He became a lion,

There is no more you could ask of him,

    He made a sacrifice,

    He inspired others,

He, a bird stuck in a cage for 27 years,

    Still never gave up,

There are too many words to describe his courage,

He had too much love his storage.

He was the voice for the moping people.

His head was high above the clouds,

But his voice was still the loudest sound.

Nelson Mandela will forever be in our hearts,

    History in his hands,

Nelson Mandela was no ordinary man.

Education is the most powerful weapon you can to change the world.

"I'm not a saint. I'm just a sinner who kept trying."

    NelsonMandela

    A humble start to this

    you lived for that ideal

    and made it real.

    From prisoner

    to President

    like an eagle

    proudly flying.

    Changed not only South Africa,

    but the World.

    Haters hated.

    YOU LIVED FOR FREEDOM!

    YOU LIVED FOR A VOICE!

    YOU LIVED FOR YOU!

It lit a spark in my heart,

    inspired me.

    You changed the world,

    trying your hardest.

    Nelson Mandela

    Hope is ringed around him.

He was determined to turn ice towater.

Pain was no match for the man whokept tall.

His journey for freedom woke hispeople up.

    He was his own army.

    Changing lives was his achievement.

Nelson Mandela will not be forgotten.

He stood up for himself and for others.

    Equality is his goal.

He led his people to freedom.

    He abolished apartheid.

Black and white will soon be one.

27 years is no time for him.

Voice and strength is his gift to hispeople.

His name will never be forgotten.

    Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was not an ordinary man,

He stood up for what he thought of.

He had voice and was a leader,

He had hope, humor and grace.

He had long journeys and forgave others,

He never gave up on his opinion.

He wanted freedom for all people,

He fought for what he thought.

Still in jail he had hope,

Like a bird Ina locked up cage.

He stood up for his side of people,

And wanted to break the apartheid.

He was willing to sacrifice himself for what he believed in,

Nelson Mandela was the prisoner to president and no one will ever forget

    him.

    Nelson Mandela

You were imprisoned but still hopeful, like a bird in a cage.

You have inspired so many generations, like an icon. You have a soul,

    a heart,

    a spirit,

like a beautiful work of art.

    You have served people,

    with independence,

    freedom,

    liberty.

    You are Nelson Mandela.
