Scholtz, the Rio Negro Palace was built in the late nineteenth century and was known

Rubber Cycle, it was one of the most prosperous cities in the world because of the

richness brought through the rubber. For the construction of the theater were brought

from Europe, several architects, painters,and builders. The hall has baroque features

and stands in the ceiling painting called "The Glorification of Fine Arts in the

Amazon."

town, not only for their invaluable architectural value, but mainly for its historical

A natural phenomenon that results from the junction of the dark waters of the famous Rio

Negro and the muddy waters of the Amazon River, known as the Solimes River.
