Managing My Money

The Manage My Money feature provides options that allow you to

monitor cash flow, set savings goals and create budgets.


Overview

If you would like to monitor your money on specific accounts, you can add them to the Manage My

Money module. All accounts that will be included in the spending report are listed in the

Accounts section.

You can add/remove the accounts that they would like included in

your spending report by clicking the “Edit List.” A maximum of 10 accounts can

be selected.

The Select Time Period dropdown allows

you to select the spending report time frame. The system will display a three-month average of their finances.

Transaction details can be obtained by clicking on the account balance for the month.

This monthly account activity will be noted as either Income or Expense. An expense will have a negative sign

next to the amount of the transaction.

You are able to edit the category for debit and credit items by selecting the Category

dropdown.

By clicking on the arrows icon, you can split the transaction between categories on the

Transaction Split Details screen.

You can then view Income and Expenses in a list or in a chart.


Budget

You can set up and edit budget amounts for different expense and income categories. If you have set up a budget, you can view it on

the Overview page. To manage budgets, click on the “Budget” tab or the “Manage” link.


Budget

You will see all income and expense transaction categories that are associat-

ed with your accounts. Editing the “Budget” field with your desired budget amount will

allow you to compare your income/expenses month to date, or across a 12-month average.


Key Expenses

Once you categorize expenses and set budget amounts, Key Expenses will be visible on the

left-hand side of the Accounts Summary page and in the chart as seen below.

Savings Goals

All Savings Goals can be viewed on the Overview page. To manage savings goals, click

on the “Savings Goals” tab, or the “Manage” link.

You can set savings goals for yourself on this tab.

You can fill out the fields in the Savings Goals Management section and click “Add.” Only two

goals can be selected to display on the Overview page. Check/uncheck the box in the Show column

to change the display.


Savings Goals

There can only be one savings goal per account. To see which savings goal was set up for which account, click on the

magnifying glass next to the Description field in the Savings Goals section. That account will no longer be available in the

account dropdown when adding new savings goals.


Categories

You can use the standard Categories for tracking income and expenses, or add their own.
