By the implementation of forest management plans, Rougier ensures responsible forest management of its concessions while achieving business objectives and committing to social and environmental reponsibilities.

As a fully integrated player, Rougier controls the entire production chain from the forest concession and all the way to importing customers. Products in the form of logs, sawn timber or plywood are exported and shipped by truck, train or boat and marketed all over the world.

With an annual production capacity of 160.000 cbm, Rougier is today one of the main suppliers of timber in Central Africa, able to offer a wide range of species and products, for which legality and traceability are guaranteed.

Rougier Afrique International’s development is built around the increasing industrialization and strengthening of its production capacity in Africa. Its production sites are located in Cameroon, Gabon and Congo. Each year, they produce 160,000 cbm of sawn timber, processed products and plywood, with FSC® certification or Verification of Legal Compliance (VLC) under Rainforest Alliance standards.
