Introduction Believes that best ideas will be determined objectively and will prevail because of clear merit.

Behavior World is fair market and best idea will win. Constantly rewarded for getting high score Don't understand - ideas need to be sold and negotiated to meet political realities. Rigid ways of thinking - fail to demonstrate their value to upper management.

How to Transform??? First offer sympathy Raise a question asking - How effective do u want to be? Tell them that business of getting things done is exciting and challenging. He has to learn much more about his team.

Such people don’t understand what belongs to office and what to home.

They crave affiliation and intimacy.

They cannot wait for an occasion to share inappropriate information about themselves.

They have the mistaken belief that if they tell everything about themselves, others will reciprocate and this will lead to a close friendship.

They get involved in others’ affairs to an extent that they are seen as meddling.

They completely misinterpret the boundary inherent in boss subordinate relationship.
