Job Description: AES Divisional Sales Manager
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the position performs a variety of functions. These
duties include but are not limited to strategizing, planning, organizing, directing, controlling and
evaluating the sales and marketing for the AES division. The remaining points are inserted under the
duties and responsibilities section.
Key Requirements:
• Completion of a university degree in a technical field of study (preferably Mechanical
Engineering).
• 5 + years’ experience in a technical sale capacity with related field experience.
• 5+ years’ managing and supervising a team of sales/customer service representatives.
• Strong hands on technical ability.
• Proficient in utilizing various sales techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to visit customer/clients in specified territories.
• Bilingual in French and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and driven professional.
• Strong analytical skills.
Special Qualifications:
• Flexibility to travel extensively both locally and internationally, up to 50%.
• Must have a valid Drivers’ license to operate both own and a company vehicle.

Major Responsibilities
• Plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the sales and marketing initiatives for the AES
division.
• Responsible for leading the AES Division by developing and executing in conjunction with the
team, strategic and operational sales, marketing and profitability growth plans. This will be
achieved by having a clear and concise understanding of the AES Division’s opportunities and
driving growth by focusing on and assessing the following areas:
o Marketing and Sales Initiatives.
o Current product branding and market place brand recognition.
o Compile overview on the current competitive market.
o Development and evaluation of current and new marketing tools and techniques by
product line.
o Identify new market opportunities aligned with AES’s capabilities.

• Building Strong Customer Relations (new and current)
o Visit current customers to identify performance opportunities and value AES provides.
o Identify new potentials and focused initiatives.

Job Purpose: The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and
effectiveness of all related manufacturing equipment and processes required to manufacture a
high quality product in a repeatable and cost effective manner. The incumbent is responsible for
all associated metrics management, staffing, leadership, strategic development and execution,
process development, product support and new process development qualification.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Drive improvements in all related process, including those related to products, equipment,
human interface and product quality. Support Quality and Mfg Departments in the root cause
analysis and corrective action process to strive for world class quality status.
• Works closely with production and support teams as required.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining world class Lean, TPM, quality processes and
other manufacturing methodologies and systems for current production as well as new product
launches.
• Manage and direct MFG Engineering staff to ensure all product launches are successfully
developed and implemented on time and budget, meeting all Napoleon requirements.
• Assist operations team in the creation of annual business and strategic plans to ensure
successful growth and profitability for the company. Ensure that all responsibilities relative to
said plans are implemented on time as required.
• Determine operational capital equipment needs and the development of an appropriate
implementation plan including budget, training, installation and maturity of equipment. Manage
operations capital projects master plan.
• Ensure new equipment and systems adhere to safety requirements as well as Local, Provincial
and Federal industry regulations.
• Create and maintain departmental budgets and strategic plans meeting all Napoleon
requirements.
• Implement strategic plans for hiring, training and developing associates as required.
• Create, implement and maintain necessary departmental and manufacturing engineering related
procedures to ensure all ISO requirements are met.
• Ensure all tasks for engineering changes for the department are completed effectively and on
time. Provides relevant input and support to the decision making process in support of the
Napoleon Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering and production related innovations and R&D efforts,
including the tracking and reporting on R&D tax credit submissions.
• Drive continuous improvements by reducing labour costs and waste reduction; improving
production efficiency, health and safety and operational improvement.
Education and Experience: • Bachelors in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in the Manufacturing industry coupled with a minimum of 5
years' Leadership experience
• P. Eng. Designation is preferred, eligibility for P.Eng registration is an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft products, Solidworks preferred
• Experience with CNC machinery, stamping equipment, process improvement, equipment
procurement, Lean, Kaizen, Kanban 5S tools and concepts.
