� He was given birth in Pusing (nearby Ipoh), Perak

� Completed primary and secondary education in BatuGajah.

� Tertiary education at the Footscray Institute of Technology (now Victoria University) in Melbourne, Australia.

� Started up his career as an accountant in AsianMotors, a motor assembly plant in Malaysia. But it

only last for two years .� In 1994, with the paid-up capital of just RM100 000,

he started up a small tin-mining company with thename Sunway Group



� He has the most award and recognition from local as well as

worldwide. He do not only holds some good position in variety

of industries, but also has been given lots of awards.
