The Secret Sauce For Creative Spaces
Gina Lujan
Founding CEOHacker Lab
. Amazing!
The Hacker Lab journeyhas been nothing short of amazing. I truly believe that the power of community and people is why..
In 2012 Hacker Lab was created by a Meetup.
30 people showed up to our very firstMeetup ever. The ideas and excitement shaped our culture by seeding grassroots from the very beginning.
What Happened
We are contracted by academic institutions, corporations & government orgs.
We moved into a10k sq ft space in 6 months with no funding with the power of community!
We now host 50 classes a month.Have 2 locations & are expanding into 4 in less than a year.
Powered and fueled by awesome passionate people.
Community Does?So what is the value of seeding and fostering community?
➔ Awesome EnergyA vibrant community creates amazing positive energy that helps boost creativity.
➔ Sense Of OwnershipCommunity brings about a deep care for the space and the desire to roll up your sleeves.
➔ IdeasWith a vibrant community, ideas are constantly flowing.
