Learning by Doing With Ivey’s Case-Method of Learning, you gain necessary foundational business knowledge in the context of real challenges faced by business leaders every day. But just as important, our focus on experiential learning means you also accelerate your leadership capabilities. Preparatory Knowledge Program

To make sure you get the most out of your MBA class time, we provide optional courses before the official program work begins. These courses are a great way to refresh your knowledge of business basics, reacquaint yourself with school routine, and get to know some of your classmates.

Bring it all together

This capstone module pulls together everything you’ve learned and connects it to today’s real-world leadership challenges. You’ll examine some of the big questions, like “Who leads best and how do they do it?”; “How are great leaders developed?”; and “What are the major forces and trends that will affect business in the 21st century?”

Career Management is a central part of the Ivey MBA and is integrated throughout the program. Classroom activities are combined with innovative experiences like our capstone alumni networking event, Get Connected. Our Career Advisors partner with you from day one through to graduation.

Admissions Requirements:

Leadership: From career success and promotion to volunteer work and community initiatives—or other interests like athletics or the arts—we are looking for candidates who have demonstrated strong leadership experience and can bring that into the Ivey classroom.

Strong Academic Record: A strong academic history with a B average and solid GMAT score (min. 600) or equivalent GRE to help to demonstrate these skills.

Progressive Work Experience: At least two years of quality, full-time work experience ensures that you and your classmates will have experiences to contribute to team and class discussions, along with the context and maturity to apply this learning in a professional setting.
