Who We Are

MAJOR DROP was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2014 during a time when streetwear and lifestyle goods were difficult to find.

Today, we’re the epitome of East meets West being one of Southeast Asia’s (SEA) leading street-lifestyle stores with over 70 specially curated brands from all over the world - all on one site, all in one store.

We’re passionate about the brands that we supply to our growing

customer base from around SEA and the world at great value, speed and ease. We’re here for the long run.

We’re both excited and inspired by the way street-fashion comes together as a whole within the culture. Our tagline, “Seek Your Style” encourages our customers to define their own style through us because in this world of conformity, individual style is one’s commodity.

How We’re Different

We believe in the emerging presence of South East Asian brands and MAJOR DROP aims to be that platform where the best of SEA and international street lifestyle brands can co-exist. We’re here to support the local while growing international.

We’ve also established a great loyalty program called “MD Homies” that looks to deliver value to our growing customer base as we continue to grow.

We’re also arguably one on the fastest growing and largest street-lifestyle stores in the region with 70 brands and growing.

Through MAJORDROP.COM, we ship across Malaysia through our national delivery agent, Pos Laju, and worldwide through SF Express. Express delivery is possible at an affordable rate while click and collect options at our stores and across Malaysia happens through our partnership with PostCo.

We’re passionate about the global movement of streetwear culture and the way it transcends different communities. It’s vibrant, dynamic and conjures a strange kind of excitement that resonates with our customers. They do more than just buy a tee-shirt, they become submerged in the lifestyle.

With 70 brands, 3,600 products and growing, we’re a platform where the best of the South East Asia meets the world. We aim to do more than just sell product, but to springboard potential SEA labels into the scene all on one store. Bellroy exists to slim your wallet. But just slim isn’t enough. We want our products to look elegant, be functional yet delightful to use, and offer a surplus in value. With a narrow focus, constant learning, agile processes and creative thinking, we can continually improve the solutions and insights we share.

If we do this well, you'll be able to move between work and play, having your pocket contents adapt along with you. Our efforts should also be respectful to all stakeholders in the business and friendly to the environment. If that sounds kinda interesting, jump in to our community, join in some of the conversation, and perhaps even become a part of this evolving group that is Bellroy.

Rastaclat is all about positivity. It's all in the name. The definition of rastaclat is the cloth of a righteous man or woman. These shoelace bracelets may be simple, but they promote positivity and freedom of expression.

Rastaclat is a symbol of righteousness, doing good for yourself and others. We believe that positive action can change lives, inspire confidence, and unite us as human beings.

People Over Product MAJOR DROP “Lucky 1”

Anniversary Party

(June 2015)

Marking our 1st year in business, we held a party at The Row, Kuala Lumpur. With 1,000 of our closest fans, friends and business partners invited, we had the pleasure of having Tom Yeti (YetiOut from Shanghai), Naufal & i-Sky (Hoax Vision from Kuala Lumpur) and DJ Biggie (Kartel Records from Kuala Lumpur) bring in the music. It was non-stop Hip-Hop music that got the town talking.

MAJOR DROP Presents “Barely Legal” Birthday Party(September 2015)

Working together with our good friends Naufal and i-Sky, we decided to throw an all-white themed for one of the DJ’s 21st birthday party that saw nearly 500 people rock up at Lust KL. We took this partnership to enhance the MAJOR DROP brand presence in KL’s nightlife and party culture to new heights.

Creating Talking Points

It’s The Ship

(November 2015)

Working with Livescape Asia on this monumental event saw MAJOR DROP becoming the official apparel sponsor for the three-day, two-night cruise party event.

We were commissioned to design and produce a complete set of goods from towels, boardshorts and an exclusive tee-shirt for every #ITS2015 goer.

Partnerships Through Events

Raising The Bar

(January 2016)

Linking up with co-founder Jin Hackman on this project saw us design the official design team for the RTB 2016 tees. We made good by setting up a pop-up booth and connecting with Okasian (Cohort - part of Keith Ape’s label).

There’s no denying the symbiosis that exists between music and streetwear. We’re always excited to be a part of the scene.

Making Global Local, Making Local Global

The F*cking Awesome Frat Party

(April 2016)

As part of our strategy of connecting with college and university students, we organised an underground house party alongside our Campus reps.

We hosted nearly 400 students at a secret location where they were treated to house party like games and tunes from local DJs. The aim of these parties are to engage and create a unique branding experience for students who are also our primary customer base.
