MAINTENANCE, RENOVATION AND REPARATION(Floors finished with hardwax Oil)

APPLICATION AREA

Hardwax Oil is a professional floor finish. The oil ensures an extremely hard-wearing and light film-building surface. Can be used on any unfinished, new or newly sanded interior woodwork, or for a topcoat on Colour Oils.

RESULT

Due to saturation with oil the wood surface is protected against water and dirt. The surface is extremelyrobust.

APPLICATION

Apply the oil in a thin layer with a short-haired roller or similar in an even coat.

MAINTAINING AND CLEANING

Regular cleaning: Natural Soap or Oil Refresher. Re-oil with Hardwax Oil or Maintenance Paste whenrequired.

Hardwax Oil is used for oil finishing of wooden floors manually or with polishing machine. The oil ensuresan extremely hard-wearing and light film-building surface. Hardwax Oil is ideal for basic finishing of anyunfinished, new and newly sanded interior woodwork, or for topcoat on Colour Oils. Polishing machine isrecommended for the polishing of bigger areas.

PREPARATION

1. The oor can be cleaned with Wood Cleaner mixed with water 1:40 if necessary. Leave oor to dry

fully before oil application.2. Stir and mix oil container well before and during use. Containers with dierent batch numbers should

be mixed before use to avoid colour dierences. Apply the oil in a thin layer with a short-haired rolleror similar in an even coat. Leave the oil to be absorbed for 20 minutes.

3. The area is now polished with white or beige polishing pad under doodle-bug or with polishing ma-chine until the excess oil is polished in, and the area appears saturated. Leave the oor to dry for 8-10hours. If necessary a second coat can be applied.

4. The oor can be used with care the next day and is fully hardened after 3 days at normal indoorconditions. Do not clean the oor until fully hardened. After the hardening time, the oor should becleaned with Natural Soap or Oil Refresher, which leaves a protecting layer on the surface. Mainte-nance Regular cleaning: Natural Soap or Oil Refresher. Re-oil with Hardwax Oil or Maintenance Paste

when required.

NOTE

Risk of self-ignition! Due to the risk of self-ignition it is important that sanding dust and oil wetted clothare soaked in water and disposed of in a tightly closed container after use.
