Our Manchester Jet Centre is the only private jet Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Manchester Airport, and includes a purpose built in-house engineering centre offering Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services. The centre employs the very latest technology and specialist staff to ensure the highest quality of maintenance within the industry.

Covering 27,000 square feet, the Ocean Sky Jet Centre offers general maintenance services including scheduled maintenance, defect rectification and modification. There is an on-site wheel and brake facility, a battery workshop as well as aircraft interior facilities providing high quality restoration, repair and interior refits. With full certification across a wide range of products, you can rest assured that your aircraft is in the most professional hands.

OCEAN SKY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCEA private jet is a complex union of precision engineering and sheer power; it requires constant expert care to maintain optimum performance levels. That is why Ocean Sky has invested extensively in a complete package of on the ground facilities and has created a seamless service that ranges from maintenance to full re-fits.

Our engineering department is an authorised Bombardier Service Facility for all Learjet, Challenger and Global type aircraft – one of only six such centres in the world. So we can assure the highest level of quality in maintenance service and warranty support in accordance with the manufacturer’s stringent requirements. Ocean Sky engineering is fully certified by various government bodies around the world including EASA 145, Canadian TCCA, Bermudan, Aruba, Cayman and Bahrain, giving you total confidence in our safety standards. Our FAA A & P (Airframe and Propulsion) and IA (Inspector Authorised) qualified staff also have experience in maintaining numerous types of aircraft on the American register.

UNSCHEDULED AND SCHEDULED BASE MAINTENANCE

• ‘A’ to heavy ‘D’ checks, including structural inspections, major modifications and embodiment of manufacturers’ service bulletins• Aircraft surveys and full aircraft auditing• Aircraft certification, including installation of UK special condition modifications• Pre or post-lease inspections and maintenance• Registration / de-registration and maintenance schedule integrations• Aircraft configurations

MAINTENANCE, REPAIR & OVERHAUL (MRO)

Ocean Sky Engineering has two apron-approved transit size vehicles, for supporting maintenance on and off the airfield. The tools on board are tailored for general maintenance requirements such as tyre and oleo inflation.

The company holds CAA approval for the overhaul and repair of wheels and brakes, and holds full JAR approval for the service and overhaul of batteries. Our dedicated workshops cater for both Lead-Acid and NiCad batteries, with the latest electronic charging units.

DEFECT RECTIFICATIONS AND AIRCRAFT MODIFICATIONS

With Ocean Sky Engineering, you are guaranteed maintenance that meets the most stringent safety standards. Drawing on an extensive range of tools and resources, we can repair or replace nearly all aircraft system components and carry out repairs on the vast majority of aircraft systems.

AVIONICS INSTALLATION & REPAIRS

Our avionics department has a wealth of experience when it comes to the installation of new electrical and electronic systems. You can be assured of a fast and accurate modification upgrading your aircraft to the latest standards, enhancing both its safety and value.

AOG SERVICES

Ocean Sky offers comprehensive AOG support for Bombardier products. The service extends from our home base at Manchester to wherever in the world supportis required. Our AOG support teams can troubleshoot a variety of systems and problems including:

DELIVERY OF NEW AIRCRAFT

Our stores department can purchase spares and parts for most aircraft at competitive prices. We buy any part that is required, from the smallest component up to complete engines, and we negotiate excellent discounts thanks to long-running agreements with leading suppliers. We also have the added benefit of preferential rates from aircraft manufacturers.

ONGOING MANAGEMENT FULLY COVEREDOcean Sky offers a comprehensive range of maintenance management services, and our experience covers an impressive range of aircraft types. The company has EASA sub part G and I approval, allowing it to offer CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management) and issue CAMO Plus ARC (Airworthiness Certificate Review) renewals.
