THE NCOME COVENANT SOLDIERING ON TO NCOME THE REVELATION CHURCH OF GOD’S HERITAGE 11 December 05th is the most memorable date in the life of Prophet Radebe, leader and founder of the Revelation Church of God. Prophet Radebe heeds the call from the Almighty God to go to the hills and valleys of the most unique battlefields of Ncome, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Ncome is located 43 km from Dundee, 24 from Nquthu and 72 km from Vryheid. The area boosts of rich history, the gem containing the tales of the past. The unforgettable confrontation between the Voortrekkers and amaZulu on 16 December 1838. The Voortrekkers fought under the skilful leadership of Andries Pretorius while King Dingane’s impi was led by Ndlela kaSompisi. Ncome is appealing , it holds memories not worth forgetting, for it reminds us of the years gone that left foot prints that still impact so much in our lives. The place where Dingane’s vastly experienced induna (commander) Ndlela made a mistake. He planned to follow the Boer horsemen across the river and attack them that night, but the distance was longer than he had anticipated and the regiments kept getting lost in the mist. The Boer horsemen were able to pick off the Zulu warriors lining the banks of the river resulting in a nightmare that ran red with their blood and henceforth called The Blood River. It is in this place that Prophet Radebe was called upon by the Almighty to take instructions and he was tasked to bring back the Black nation, as they are to God. Where else could it have been but Ncome; the place where multiple ethnic groups submitted themselves to AmaHlubi because they saw that this clan was well endowed with gifts. 12
