WelcomeWelcome to the first Maesteg Town Hall programme of events. We have been working hard to

bring you a variety of exciting, professional shows to see you through the dark autumn days and

into the spring. Whether you join us to explore the fascinating lives of Wales’ finest cultural icons,

to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Wales’ best female impersonator, or to sing along with some

of the world’s best tribute acts, we hope you will find something for you!

We are particularly excited to bring you our brand new comedy club; Clown’s Pocket @ MTH,

on the first Wednesday of each month. Full of top comedians who headline at venues such as

‘Glee’ and ‘Jongleurs’, a great laugh is guaranteed!

Alongside our professional programme of events we are proud to host a variety of top quality

events from the community of the Llynfi Valley. From choirs, to youth theatre and amateur

operatics, Maesteg Town Hall is the place to go for a great evening’s entertainment!

We look forward to welcoming you to Maesteg Town Hall.

Louise Ralph

Business Development Manager

Who funds the hall?

In 1881 miners of the Llynfi Valley agreed to

levy a day’s wages toward the cost of building

Maesteg Town Hall. Since then the hall has

played a part in the cultural life of the people

of the Llynfi Valley. The hall is now run by

a voluntary management committee and is

funded by Bridgend County Borough Council

and Maesteg Town Council among others.

Over the past year, there have been many

developments including a new dedicated Box

Office situated in the Market below the hall,

a new website and an exciting programme of

events and activities for you to enjoy!

For all enquiries relating to the organisation,

potential projects and opportunities please
