2:30pm-4:00pm Large Lunch (often Menú del Dia/ 2 courses) Same time as siesta where people go home and just rest.

Watching flamenco (traditional Spanish dance from the south)
Watching fútball (Soccer) on Television in Bars or sometimes even going to the games
Hanging out (especially in bars and cafés)
Strolling around the city (mostly in Sol area)
Renting boats and hanging out in Parque Retiro (a large park in the center of Madrid)

Plaza de España (plaza near the international section of Madrid)
El Oso y el Madroño (statue of a bear eating off a strawberry tree, main meeting place for many Madrileños in Sol area)

Bad Singers in the Metro (once one sang Bésame Mucho, which literally means Kiss Me A Lot)

Caricaturists (artists who draw your face comically)
