This is a reminder to those 7th and 8th grade band students who will be participating at the
high school football game this evening –
please meet in the high school band room at
5:30 to practice. Don’t forget to bring your instrument with you and wear your band
shirts and blue jeans.
Cross Country Results
Against Apple Valley, Macon, Asheville Christian Academy, Asheville, Waynesville, Garrett Anders pounded his way to a 4th place overall finish in the
boys’ race.
On the girls’ side, Hannah Sawyer cut through the pack to finish a solid 3rd place out of 56 total
runners, while ‘middle packers’ Indigo Hollister, Amelia Lanier, Calli Hensley, and Shelby Jenkins pushed further towards the front to help secure a
2nd place team score for the girls.
Congratulations to all runners!

you are.

High School Football Game
If you are going to the high school football
game, please remember to be in the stands, not
roaming around near the field house, hanging out on the track, or the bus
parking lot.
Fall Break Field Trip
Madison County Parks and Rec. invites you and your family
to attend a fall break field trip on Monday, Oct. 11th, to the
Greeneville Pavilion for ice skating and visiting the bounce
house.
Cost - $20
Get registration form in the office deadline is Monday
There are still lots of slots left in the CIS Over-Time
afterschool program. If you want to have fun, get your work caught up, and hang
out with friends you need to see Mrs. Pegg in student
services to get your registration form. Reminder,
this is a free afterschool program and you can ride the afterschool buses.
The Mars Hill Chess Club will meet tonight at 6:30 PM in
the library at Mars Hill Elementary School.
