Day 1 - Marquette, MI - Today, you travel to Marquette, Michiganfor an overnight stay at the Country Inn & Suites. Dinner is includ-ed this evening at a local restaurant. (D)

Day 2 - Oswald's Bear Ranch -Wilderness Train - Sault Ste Marie,MI - Today you stop in Newberry tovisit Oswald's Bear Ranch, thelargest bear only bear ranch in theentire United States. Next, you takea ride on the Wilderness Train.

Ride the longest 24" gauge railroadin the country 5 1/2 miles through wilderness habitat home to manyof Michigan's animal species. At the end of the line, passengersdisembark for a short stopover. Enjoy a view of the TahquamenonRiver at the riverside park then ride the train back to Soo Junction.Concessions and restroom are available during the stopover.

Continue travel to Sault Saint Marie for the night at the RamadaPlaza Hotel Ojibway. Tonight, enjoy a Soo Locks Dinner Cruise onthe St. Mary's River while enjoying a complete buffet dinner withdessert. After dinner, you will experience "locking through the SooLocks." (B,D)

Day 3 - Colonial Michilimackinac - Mackinaw City, MI - Thismorning enjoy breakfast before stopping at the Great LakesShipwreck Museum. There are over 6,000 shipwrecks in the GreatLakes. It is estimated that there are about 550 wrecks in LakeSuperior, most of which are undiscovered. At least 200 lie alongLake Superior’s Shipwreck Coast, a treacherous 80-mile stretch ofshoreline with no safe harbor between Munising, Michigan, andWhitefish Point.

Next, you cross the "Mighty Mac," a nearly five mile long suspen-sion bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upperand Lower Peninsulas of Michigan. The main bridge cables aremade from 42,000 miles of wire and the towers stand 554 feetabove the water.

The afternoon features a visit toColonial Michilimackinac, an 18th-century fort and fur trading village. Stepg back in time to 1775, when theAmerican Revolution began.Reconstructed based on historicmaps and more than 50 years ofarchaeological excavations that continue today, Colonial

Michilimackinac offers a one-of-a-kind experience from cannon andmusket firings to hearth cooking and crafts.

You then check into your hotel, the Best Western Plus Dockside,for a two night stay. Enjoy a delicious dinner this evening at Toast AGo-Go Restaurant. (B,D)

Day 4 - Mackinac Island - Grand Hotel Brunch - Horse-DrawnCarriage Tour - Today may feel like a scene from the 1980 film“Somewhere in Time,” starring Christopher Reeve and JaneSeymour as you get a sense of the perspective between life todayand in the Victorian Age. You board Shepler’s Ferry, in MackinawCity, for a journey into the Victorian Age of America, a visit to avery special place, Mackinac Island.

On arrival, you will enjoy a Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour. Accessibleonly by boat, this summer resort has the feel of life in the 1890s.There are no motorized vehicles on the island, horse drawn carriages will meet you and then with the clattering of hoofs oncobblestones, whisk you off on a narrated tour.

Next, brunch is included at the GrandHotel, one of the finest hotels in theworld; it is a truly lovely setting, anda memorable meal. Take a momentand enjoy a rocking chair view fromthe world’s longest porch.

The afternoon features a visit to OldFort Mackinac. The oldest buildingin Michigan and 13 other historical structures boast exhibitsexplaining everything from military training and battles to medicaltreatments to family life within the fort. After your tour, you willhave free time on the island. In the early evening catch the ferryand return to your Mackinaw City hotel. (B,L)

Day 5 - Frankenmuth, MI - Holland, MI - This morning travel toFrankenmuth, Michigan, a city known for its Bavarian-style architecture. On arrival meet your local guide for an area tour ofFrankenmuth. After the tour you will have free time to explore andhave lunch on your own.

Late afternoon you travel to Holland, MI. Tonight enjoy a family-style dinner at the Beechwood Grill, a local Holland, Michigan‘landmark for over 40 years. Afterwards, check into the Holiday InnExpress for night stay. (B,D)

Day 6 - Veldheer Gardens &Wooden Shoe Factory -Milwaukee, WI - Start with a visit toVeldheer Gardens, where six Milliontulips are planted for the spring TulipFestival. Even though the tulips havebloomed, there is still plenty to see.See the ten acre landscaped perennial garden, open from June

1st to mid October. Here there are thousands of Dutch lilies,daylilies, peonies and other rare perennials amid a setting of windmills, drawbridges and canals.

Wooden shoes are very practical footwear for gardening and general use. See the shoe maker produce wooden shoes fromblock of poplar wood using authentic Dutch machinery (still used inEurope today) designed especially for making wooden shoes. Seethe detail and pride of work that goes into each piece of productmade.

Continue travel today to Milwaukee, WI for the night at theHampton Inn Airport. Dinner is included this evening at a localrestaurant. (B,D)

Day 7 - Harley Davidson Museum - Depart for Home - Afterbreakfast, visit the Harley-Davidson Museum for a first-class experience. See why the Museum is one of Milwaukee’s top touristdestinations.
