A number of taster courses and summer schools are

being offered by universities across the country.

These are a fantastic opportunity for students to

gain an insight into the topic they may wish to study

at university and attendance looks very favourable

on UCAS applications. Students should see their

Form Tutor, Mr Butterworth or Mr Edwards for fur-

ther support and guidance.

Sixth Form Parents’ Meetings

Dates for your Diaries Our next Year 12 Parents’

Meetings take place on Tuesday 6th March. Our next

Year 13 Parents’ Meetings take place on Tuesday

13th March.

Our Sixth Form Bursary Fund is open throughout the

school year to support students who are experienc-

ing financial difficulties. Students should see a mem-

ber of the Sixth Form team for an application form.

Well done to Year 12 and 13 who donated

money for the Christmas Jumper day last

month. We raised £526.89 for Save the

Children. Thank you.

Sixth Form Assessment Week for Year 12

and PPE Week for Year 13 – Monday 19th

February to Friday 23rd February

All students will sit an examination style task in each of

their subjects. Students should ensure they are well-

prepared and that their classwork and homework notes

are in order. They should discuss topics that they need

to revise with subject teachers and ensure that they

begin their revision as soon as possible.
