Dates to Remember……. Principal’s Message
Thank you all so very much for your flexibility this week. It has been so lovely to have the chance to bring everyone together and get back to our programs and routines. We are grateful to Wisemans Ferry PS for opening their school and their arms to us all.
Teachers have been happy to have a steady base too. We have all been setting up camp at a variety of schools and teaching unfamiliar classes. It was so nice for us all get back to our routines.
We are still unsure what the rest of our week will hold, but we are making the most of opportunities as they arise. We will have an extra long swimming session this week without travel time to factor in - the children are very happy about that! We will need to schedule another date for our Longneck Lagoon incursion, but they have assured me that we get first priority on dates as soon as we are settled back at school.
Unfortunately I will need to continue to update you each afternoon as decisions filter through to me. I realise how challenging this can be and I’m thankful for your patience and understanding.
Thank you!
Melissa Date - Principal

PUBLICATION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
Macdonald Valley Public School publishes
photographs of students via its school
Newsletter, on its web-site, school brochure,
through its prospectus and from time to time in
advertisements, newspaper articles and its
social media sites. Parents/caregivers are
requested to advise the school in writing if they
do not consent to have a photographic image
of their child published. Names of students may
appear with an accompanying photographic
image. Should the names of individual students
be published on the Web-site or social media
sites only first names will be used. If we do not
receive any notification from parents via the
Administration Office, the school will assume
that you agree to these conditions.
A big THANK YOU to Wisemans Ferry PS!
We are very grateful to Wisemans Ferry for accommodating us at their school whilst Macdonald Valley has had to temporarily cease operations due to bush fires in the area. Staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the chance to all join together again. They are pictured here at WFPS working hard in Maths.

Follow your dreams!
Macdonald Valley Public School is willing to support advertisements for local businesses and community functions for our youth, however parents will need to assess for themselves the quality of products and services advertised and the suitable management of functions attended by their children.
We are very proud of our students’ achievements in external events and competitions and are committed to recognising their achievements, however, this cannot happen unless we are informed. Please ring us or send us something in writing if your child or a group of students achieve success in external events so we can recognise their achievements in our weekly newsletters.
