1.0 GRIEVANCES AND DISPUTES RESOLUTION

1.1 General

'his document describes the avenues that &bajana Cement (roject willma)e available *or project afected people to lodge a complaint or e+pressa grievance against the project, its staf or contractors- 'he documentalso describes the procedures, roles and responsibility *or addressinggrievances and resolving disputes- 'here would be monitoringmechanism to see or veri*y the outcome o* the grievance resolutionprocess-

'he *ocus o* the grievance resolution process is to achieve prompt redress*or complainants through negotiation or mediation directly with theproject, or through community or local administrative channels-
