ULTRA RESISTANT
Choisir une toile de qualité, c’est avant tout être vigilant à la matière
première qui compose la toile. Toutes les toiles Sunbrella® sont
réalisées à partir d’acrylique Sunbrella teinté dans la masse.
Contrairement à d’autres fi ls dont la couleur est obtenue par simple
trempage, le fi l Teint Masse Sunbrella est fabriqué avec la couleur au
début de la fabrication de la fi bre, quand l’acrylique est encore liquide.
Il est ainsi coloré “à coeur” là où certains fi ls ne le sont qu’en surface.
L’acrylique teint masse Sunbrella, c’est la garantie d’une durabilité
exceptionnelle des coloris dans le temps.
GARANTIES
Certains tissus Sunbrella® sont garantis 10 ans. Les tissus Sunbrella
Plus, Supreme et Coussins sont garantis 5 ans (sauf Furling et Furling
Adhesive). Les tissus Marine Seaguard et Sunworker de Dickson
sont garantis 5 ans. Le tissu Surlast est garanti 3 ans. Voir

Cet agrément certifi e la non toxicité des toiles acryliques traitées
hydrofuges. Les tests ont permis de s’assurer de la non présence,
dans les tissus présentant ce logo, d’odeurs, de colorants
cancérigènes, de composants volatiles ou encore de pesticides.
CERTIFICATION GREENGUARD : QUALITÉ DE L’AIR INTÉRIEUR
L’agrément Greenguard certifi e que les toiles Sunbrella® sont
faiblement émissives et qu’elles peuvent être utilisées en intérieur ou
pour toute application où une qualité de l’air est nécessaire, avec la
garantie qu’elles contribueront à conserver un air intérieur sain.
CERTIFICATIONS QSE (Qualité-Sécurité-Environnement)
Dickson-Constant est certifi é ISO 9001 depuis Juin 2003, ISO 14001
depuis Mars 2012 et OHSAS 18001 depuis Juin 2012.
Ces certifi cations internationales du Bureau Veritas Certifi cation illustrent la
volonté de Dickson-Constant d’évoluer dans une démarche de progrès
continu et de mieux répondre aux attentes de ses clients. Elles symbolisent
la reconnaissance de la maturité et de l’effi cience de son système QSE.
TISSUS SUNBRELLA® : LA MEILLEURE PARADE AUX UV
Amateurs ou professionnels de la mer recherchent pour leurs bateaux les
tissus les plus résistants, mais aussi les plus performants en matière de
protection solaire. Les tissus Sunbrella® sont tous classés de UPF30+ à
UPF50+*: ils procurent une excellente protection contre les UV, protégeant
ainsi tous les types de peaux des effets nocifs du soleil.

Depuis 2005, les tissus Sunbrella® Marine bénéfi cient du label de
recommandation de la fondation en faveur de la lutte contre le cancer
de la peau « pour leur contribution effi cace à la prévention des
dommages causés à la peau par le soleil ». Ce label international est
octroyé par un comité indépendant de photobiologie composé
d'experts spécialisés dans les effets des rayons du soleil et le cancer
de la peau. Diffi cile à obtenir (tests intensifs, critères stricts...), il
garantit aux clients une protection effi cace.
ULTRA RESISTANT
When choosing a quality fabric, it is important to recognise the raw
material from which it derives. All Sunbrella® fabrics are made from
solution dyed acrylic yarns. Contrary to other yarns, from which colour
is obtained by a simple bath, Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic is made
by adding the colour at the beginning of the production process, when
the acrylic is still liquid. It is, therefore, coloured “to the heart” whereas
some yarns are coloured on the surface only. Sunbrella solution dyed
acrylic yarn is the guarantee of an exceptional durability of the colours
over time.
WARRANTIES
Most Sunbrella® fabrics are backed with a 10 year limited warranty. The
Sunbrella Plus, Supreme and Cushions fabrics are backed with a 5 year
limited warranty (except Furling and Furling Adhesive). Dickson's Seaguard
and Sunworker marine fabrics are backed with a 5 year limited warranty.
Surlast is backed with a 3 year limited warranty. See general warranty

This approval certifi es that the acrylic fabrics with waterproofi ng
treatment are non toxic. The tests prove the absence of smell,
carcinogenic colourings, volatile components or even pesticides in the
fabrics carrying this logo.
GREENGUARD INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFIED
The Greenguard designation ensures that Sunbrella® fabrics are a
low-emitting product and can be used indoors or in any application
where enhanced air quality is preferred with the confi dence that these
fabrics will contribute to healthy indoor air.
QSE CERTIFICATIONS (Quality-Security-Environment)
Dickson Constant is ISO 9001 certifi ed since June 2003, ISO 14001
certifi ed since March 2012 and OHSAS 18001 certifi ed since June
2012. These international certifi cations from the Bureau Veritas
Certifi cation show Dickson-Constants’ desire to advance in the
evolution of continuous progress and to respond even better to its
customers requirements. It symbolises recognition and effi ciency of
its QSE service.
SUNBRELLA® FABRICS: THE ULTIMATE UV PROTECTION
Whether amateur or professional, sailors expect their marine fabrics to
be very strong, but also to offer a high degree of solar protection. All
Sunbrella® fabrics* are now rated between UPF30+ and UPF50+: they
offer an excellent protection against UV rays, protecting all skin types
from the harmful effects of the sun.

Since 2005, Sunbrella® marine fabrics benefi t from the "Seal of
Recommandation" of the Skin Cancer Foundation, for their "effective

skin cancer. Diffi cult to obtain (involving intensive tests, strict criteria) it
guarantees customers effective protection.
