SensorsCaburn solutions have integrated an array of sensors toour gateways and systems. For instance; air quality,light, temperature, smart plugs, motion sensors, digitalI/O, smoke, CO, CO2, heat, damp and flood alarms.

Some sensors provide multiple functions while othersare highly specialised/purposed. While the high-qualitydevices we have already connected serve a wide rangeof IoT applications, we are also able to integrate newdevices or sensors depending upon your application.

IoT Gateways/HubsOur gateways provide a flexible platform for connectingon-site sensors. Supporting a range of communicationprotocols including; Zigbee, Z-Wave, WLAN, Wireless M-Bus, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and LoRa WAN. Ourprincipal gateway uses a Java platform on an embeddedsystem. Mqtt protocols are used to communicate withIoT platforms and we use secure cloud based servicesfor connecting to our authorised subscribers.

Device Management SystemsOur systems allow gateways and sensors to be remotelymanaged. This can either be through configuration ortemplate changes or through remote firmware upgrades.Devices can be edited, or their live status viewed.Combined with our connectivity management portal, theyprovide powerful tools to managing discrete IoT deploy-ments.

• Air Quality SensorThe wireless Air Quality Sensor monitors vola�le organic compound (VOC) levels to ensure the best air quality possible. VOCs are organic chemicals present in indoor air, andsome VOCs can cause both short-term and long-term adverse health effects. The ba�ery-driven Air Quality Sensor provides your customers with con�nuous monitoring of VOCsand informa�on on the VOC levels throughout the day in order to prevent adverse health effects. • Door/Window Opening Sensorhe Door/Window Sensor detects and reports the opening and closing of doors and windows. Easily installed on any door or window, the sensors trigger a signal when parted,no�fying the user when a room is entered. The Window Sensor also features a built-in temperature measuring func�onality that measures changes in room temperature,to a 0.1°C interval. Readings from the sensor can be sent via a home automa�on system through SMS, e-mail, or web. • Digital Input/Output SensorA ZigBee DI/DO module that integrates wired devices into a ZigBee wireless network. The sensor can also be connected to a variety of sensors intended to perform mul�farious func�ons. For example,bed or pressure mats, and so on.
