INTRODUCTION
Today’s focus is relative clauses.
Relative clauses add more detail to a sentence. They start with a relative pronoun - a ‘w’ word or ‘that’.
who, which, where, when, whose, whom, that
The family, who had been travelling for hours, were tired and hungry.
Alice arrived at the farmhouse, which loomed over her, and knocked on the door.
The cat waited at the hole where the mouse had disappeared.
