The full M series range has been completely redesigned to meet the new EcodesignDirective for Energy Related Products (ErP).

This enables the entire range to be one of the most efficient in the industry with energy efficiency class up to A+++ for our flag ship model the MSZ-FH.

Many of our systems that have an energy label of A are registered on the Energy Technology List and hencequalify for 100% first year enhanced capital allowances (whole system cost and ‘reasonable’ cost of installation).

Enhanced Capital Allowance

Air conditioning is regarded as a significant user of energy in buildings across the EU. The Ecodesign Directive is focusing on thisarea in a bid to reduce overall energy consumption, and to accelerate market transformation to more energy efficient products.An air conditioner will vary performance over changing seasons which means calculating seasonal performance is important to ascertainthe true performance of an air conditioning system. Ecodesign Directive reflects this by setting minimum efficiency requirements and anew method of measuring performance introduced across the EU and hence new energy ratings are achievable. The European StandardBSEN14825:2012 sets the seasonal performance calculation for an air conditioning system under 12kW of which the energy efficiencyclass for each product specification is shown. For more information visit www.mitsubishielectric.eu/erpProduct design improvements have enhanced the seasonal efficiency, however this may effect nominal COP/EER.
