1. INTRODUCTION
The objective of this Document is to describe the Marketplace hosted at the M-Inclusion website.
The objective of including a marketplace in the M-Inclusions website was with the aim of developing an ecosystem where all M-Inclusion needs are properly identified and covered and will help to the end-users the task of finding concrete solutions that can cover their specific needs. This Marketplace help developers to display their mobile applications, web services and ideas related to inclusion into the market.
The Marketplace is focused in two main actors: developers and users.
The M-Inclusions Marketplace is a platform where developers can upload their social based solutions and applications.
The M-Inclusions Marketplace is the platform where users can find mobile solutions to cover their inclusive or social needs.
This document is structured in explain how the Marketplace works, on the improvements and dissemination actions carried out during the second period, and in the conclusions and achievements reached with these actions. The work accomplished take M-Inclusions Marketplace beyond the initial concept planned at the beginning of the project.

2. HOW IT WORKS
M-Inclusions marketplace aims to be an ad-hoc application store for end users to find specific applications that are made or develop to address one or many of M-Inclusion topics. The working process of the Marketplace is as follows:
1. The developers upload applications:
To upload an app, the developer needs to be registered in the M-Inclusion website. When the developer is registered he gets the access to upload applications into M-Inclusions marketplace.
During the upload process, there are some mandatory fields that the developer needs to enter, and these are minimum needed fields for the users to understand the application scope. These fields are summarized in:
Name of the application. Brief description of what the application is for. Download link: it can be a link to the binary file or a link to other Marketplaces. Category: it have to be chosen from among pre-defined M-Inclusions categories. Icon, which will be display in the searching tool. Platform.
There are some other fields which are not mandatory for uploading an application, but which can be included in the uploading process and to be useful for users, such as:
URL or website where he can give support to the end user. Payment type. Screenshots, so the end user can have an idea on how the application looks like QR code download. Version of the software, so the end user can keep track of the last version.
Once this formulary is completed, the application can be uploaded to the portal and will be available for the end users.

2. End user to search and download an application:
Users can search for applications that have been previously uploaded into the marketplace. After the modifications on the Marketplace suggested during the first review of the project, is not mandatory to be registered in the M-Inclusion website to download an application. When a user search for applications, four fields can be fulfilled:
Application title. Description. Platform. Category.
Applications for Android platform in the Autism category have been searched in the example below:

3. IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE MARKETPLACE
3.1. CATEGORIZATION
During the review process to improve the M-Inclusions Marketplace, one of the main objectives was to provide the Marketplace with singular assets, which would differentiate M-Inclusions Marketplace from other available marketplaces in Internet.
The first action was to change the categorization within the Marketplace, from the used standard categories, which are the same in most of the marketplaces (health, travel, games, entertainment, tools, music, etc) for an unique categorization based in the M-Inclusions end users needs.
In this sense, the M-Inclusion categories for the Marketplace were created after the study of the Deliverable 4.1 Benchmark on End-Users needs. Therefore 22 categories, covering the need of the four M-Inclusions core groups, were put in place and all the available applications uploaded until that date were reclassified to fit in those categories.

B. Process for labeling an application
Two different processes have been used to award the application with the M-Inclusion Certified label:
Analysis of the applications, in first instance by the M-Inclusion Partners and then by the M-Inclusion Stakeholders.
Use of alternative databases and classifications of best apps from reliable sources, such as the report issued by the European Commission as explained further below.
I. Analysis
The first part of the Analysis of an application to be labelled with the M-Inclusion certified is carried out by the own M-Inclusions Partners. The chosen Partner for the analysis is provided with an evaluation table, which has to fulfill with the pertinent information about the application. All the information collected in the pre-analysis is quantitative, extracted from the appraisal of the application and the developer from other Marketplaces.

C. Disclaimer for the certified
All the developers owner of an application granted with the M-Inclusion Certified label were reached and contacted to inform them about the process, about the link of the applications in the M-Inclusions Marketplace, and to invite them to join the M-Inclusion Community.
The following disclaimer was send to those developers:
Dear developer of "BrailleType" app,
My name is Mara Jos Cantarino de Frias, and Im part of a new international project called M-Inclusion (http://www.m-inclusion.eu/), developed under the support of the European Commission and which follows the final aim to help those people with risk of exclusion: people from isolated areas, with low incomes, with disabilities or chronic patients.
We are developing a Marketplace in our website, where upload apps with additional value to those users participating in our project. Thats why, we kindly ask you, if it is possible for us to upload your app, or just link it to other stores (Google play, Appstore) from our marketplace, and make easier the access to our users.
We are at your disposal for anything you would need, and we invite you to form part of the M-Inclusion project.
Sincerely, M-Inclusion Project Coordinator.

3.3. PROACTIVE APPLICATIONS SEARCH
Due to the concerns raised during the first review meeting about the quantity of the content hosted in the Marketplace, the Consortium took the decision to search and link social and inclusive applications from others Marketplaces, and classify them among the aforementioned M-Inclusions categories defined for the Marketplace. This task was assigned to the Partners with duties within the Marketplace task.
The impact result from this task is breathtaking: from 9 application hosted in the Marketplace in the first review meeting (M15), the marketplace has reached 4.340 applications in M28.
The searched applications have been reviewed to ensure that these applications can be part of the M-Inclusion Marketplace and that can contribute positively to the M-Inclusion community.

3.4. VISIBILITY
The visibility of the Marketplace has been improved considerably and it is one of the main points in the Marketplace improvements. This has been achieved mainly through the following two actions:
All the content in the Marketplace is now open for the Community. There is no need to be registered and signed up in the M-Inclusion Website to access to the Marketplace, to search for applications and to download them.
The Marketplace have been placed in a priority position in the M-Inclusions landing page during the website review process. The Marketplace is now placed as the first output of the project, along with the Open Innovation Services and the Best Practices. To make easier the access to the Marketplace for both Users and Developers, get your app and upload an app buttons were located in a visible position. Such modification encourages the visitor to access to the Marketplace.

3.5. MARKETPLACES MAIN PAGE
Last but not least, the next action was addressed to improve the M-Inclusion Marketplace, modifying the Marketplace main page with some improvements in usability and in the look and feel design.
A bar on the top of the Marketplace is reserved to host a selection of apps called Top Apps. This bar shows seven applications, which have the best punctuation within the marketplace. The objective of this bar is to show to the users some of the best applications in a very simple way.
A brief description of the M-Inclusion Certified label is included in the main page of the Marketplace with the objective to introduce to the users about its function. A link to the notice with all the information about the label is included.

4. DISSEMINATION
With the aim of reaching more users and developers using the Marketplace, several dissemination campaigns have been carried out both in Europe and Latam with the objective to spread the Marketplaces capabilities. Due to the Marketplace objective to join offer (developers) with demand (core users) of solutions, the dissemination activity is a key activity within the project.
In this sense, the most important communication campaign has been the mailing send to the Futuras Database, aimed to reach all the developers included on it. The following mail was sent on January 18th:
Developer or entrepreneur, what can M-Inclusion do for you?
Dear Campusero,
Do you want to turn your social innovative ideas in real
business opportunities?
If you have an app and you want to turn it into a business, M-Inclusion gives you the chance to share with our community of more than 600 technology-related organizations and social inclusion representatives and more than 100.000 potential impacts on social networks in order to find partners or investors, as well as provide access to an evaluation of Telefnicas INNOVATION 2.0 experts team, which will assess the potential of your initiative for being a product or service marketable for Telefnica and thus providing support and coaching services to entrepreneurs selected.
To access the service you can upload your idea at: http://www.m-inclusion.eu/content/share-project-ideas
More info at: http://www.m-inclusion.eu/news/m-inclusion-supports-good-ideas

5. CONCLUSIONS
During the second period of the project, the M-Inclusions Marketplace has suffered a radical change from the first idea shaped at the beginning of the project. Many improvement actions have been accomplished in order to create a real qualified marketplace with enough interest for both developers and users.
At this stage, M-Inclusions Marketplace contains more than 4.000 applications available in its database and classified in a unique categorization; such categorization was defined after an exhaustive analysis of users inclusive needs identified thanks to the work done with the end users stakeholders and adjusted for covering these users needs. This categorization provides an exclusive shape to the M-Inclusions Marketplace, which makes it totally different in comparison with the already available marketplaces.
The creation of the M-Inclusions certified label, offers a great added value for the users of the Marketplace, since it allows users to access to applications that have been tested by real people expert on the field and therefore prove the concerns of M-Inclusion consortium for the need of the end users. The process for labeling an application is a complicated activity, and even more for the social inclusive scope since such application have to fulfill the quality expectations from the final users.
In this sense, almost 200 applications have been granted with the certified label, which means that less than 5% of the total applications uploaded in the Marketplace have been awarded with this label.
On a daily basis, the already uploaded applications from the Marketplace are promoted through the M-Inclusion social networks profiles, granting dissemination and prestige to those applications and their developers.
Developers involved on developing inclusive applications appreciate the value of the M-Inclusion initiative since it provides significance and visibility to their work.
All the carried actions have redounded a very positive reaction from users and developers, with the pertinent increase on the users visits to the website and publication of applications from the developers.
Summarizing, M-Inclusions Marketplace is a showcase for those developers interested in inclusive activities and an important repository for the final users where to find, in an intuitive and easy way, all the existing applications to cover their inclusive needs in order to help them to reduce the risk of social exclusion and to make their life easier.
