Rock music lovers, in the city of Colombo, hardly get

the opportunity of experiencing their kind of music –

live! But, come Sunday, June 28th (2015), and they

would be able to enjoy some great rock sounds, by some

of Sri Lanka’s great exponent of rock music.

The explosion will take place at the Excel World Car

Park, from 5.00 pm onwards, and there will be reverberat-

ing rock vibes from the likes of Chitral Chity Somapala,

Tantrum, Constellation and Stigmata.

Chitral, who is based in Europe, will move into action

with a thundering rhythm section - from Germany.

The rhythm section will have Raoul Walton on bass,

Sebastian Eder on guitar, and Carsten Enghardt on drums.

These are studio musicians, who played on Chitral’s stu-

dio album, ‘Sinhabumi.’ So, obviously Sri Lankans are cer-

tainly going to have a rocking good time, at Rock Sunday.

Chitral, by the way, will be performing the entire album

'Sinhabumi,’ plus some classic Civilization One stuff and

Red Circuit stuff – both with whom he has recorded.

This rock legend also did the film score ‘A Love Like

This ' with veteran film director, Chandran Rutnam, and

the song, 'Me Wage Adarayak, ' is already receiving posi-

tive reviews.

Stigmata, who are the pioneers of Heavy Metal/Hard

Rock in Sri Lanka, will be the other crowd puller.

They are one of the most respected creative forces, in

the region, and a phenomenal live powerhouse, earn-

ing them a reputation as one of the most sought-

after-bands, hailing from Asia.

Stigmata celebrate their 15th anniversary

this year.

Rock Sunday is a charity event, organized

to raise funds in order to provide clean and

safe water for consumption by those living in

the rural areas of Sri Lanka.

Hundreds of families need clean and safe

water for their daily livelihood.

Taylor Swift’s romance with Calvin

Harris seems to be going well.

The ‘Bad Blood’ singer posted a cute

picture of the two enjoying a pool on

none other than a giant inflatable

swan.

Swift was pictured sitting behind

Harris, who was at the head of the

swan, with her legs wrapped round his

hips.

She pointed triumphantly into the

air whilst Harris shielded his eyes with

one hand and gazed off into the dis-

tance. The two looked remarkably

comfortable in each other’s company.

Swift and Harris were first linked

together in March when they were

spotted out and about in Los Angeles.

The couple has yet to publically dis-

cuss their relationship but they have

seemingly confirmed they are romanti-

cally involved with a series of very

public displays of affection.

The two have been spotted at

awards ceremonies, together, out for

dinner, and holding hands whilst out in

Swift’s adopted home of New York.

Singer Ellie Goulding recently

revealed she was responsible for set-

ting Swift and Harris up.

"I did play matchmaker, that's true.

Calvin is a really great mate and he's

so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool

person who I love.

"I thought, they're both really awe-

some and both really tall, they'll be

brilliant together."
