which originates from Spain. This
statute was solemnly crowned and
enthroned above the High Altar of
the Shrine by His Eminence, Francis
Cardinal George in December 2007.

During the month of October we are invited to meditate on Jesus's life especially by the means of the
Holy Rosary. Meditation is above all a quest. The mind seeks to understand the why and how of the
Christian life in order to adhere and respond to what the Lord is asking. And to the extent that we are
humble and faithful, we discover in meditation the movements that stirs the heart, and we are able to
discern them. The important point is to advance with the Holy Ghost along the one way of prayer, Jesus
Christ. To attain this end, Our Blessed Mother herself gave us the Holy Rosary. So let us use it well!
