NO HOLDS BARREDBy M.A. SADANAND

Hirsuteram, a newfangled seer from the North, has, before the court can have a look at the 1000-page chargesheet and other papers, convicted the murdered MissRapee of Delhi, seeing with his spiritual eye the entirescenario that led to the bus picnic and Rapee’s seductionby the half dozen flesh fiends!

All that Defence Minister Anthony need to do to unfurlthe Pakistani army beheaders of two of our soldiers at theLOC, is to seek Hirsuteram’s diagnosis of the return to thegood old days of barbarity by the Pak army. Anthony mayincidentally use the good offices of H.Ram in divining howthe Maoists packed the dead people with explosives that,on a silken touch by rescuers, blowed them into smithereens.Well, some live and learn while some die so that others maylearn. This is a precious legacy that the dogman H.Ram isleaving for Mother India!

The 30th Anniversary issue of “The Week” dated De-cember 30 on the “Icon for Today’s India”, meaning SwamiVivekananda (no relation of mine) who lived about 150years ago, extracts what great vedantists wrote aboutVivekananda’s thoughts. The article says, “While he be-lieved that Advaitha Vedantha is the religion of the futureenlightened humanity, he was firmly persuaded that, without the help of practical Islam, theories of Vedantha, however powerful and fine they may be, are entirelyvalueless to mankind. Therefore ,”I see in my mind’s eyethe future-perfect India rising, out of this chaos and strife, glorious and invincible with Vedanthic brain and Islambody........”. What do you say, India and Pakistan?
