Nata nel 1970 come azienda artigianale si è sviluppata negli anni successivi fino a diventare nei primi anni ’80 la maggior produttrice di chiusure magnetiche per pelletteria al mondo; ha poi continuato a rinnovarsi per stare al passo coi tempi e poter soddisfare le esigenze sempre nuove del mercato della moda.

Con un campionario che spazia dagli articoli più modaioli a quelli più strettamente tecnici, l’azienda lombarda ha definito di recente una serie di operazioni strategiche che le hanno consentito di consolidare la sua posizione commerciale a livello mondiale. Dopo l’apertura di un’unità di produzione in a Leon in Messico (la ROBOR) e la successiva apertura di un punto commerciale a Milano nella zona di produzione della pelletteria (acquisendo la vecchia MINUMETAL), la MLM ha compiuto un ulteriore passo avanti con l’acquisizione del Know How e la relativa tecnologia per la produzione di piedini, borchie e angoli per borse e articoli della pelletteria in genere. Questa produzione, che viene considerata tecnica, si affianca a quella che è da sempre il punto di forza dell’azienda, la chiusura magnetica. Quest’accessorio sempre più fondamentale nelle produzioni moderne di borse, viene ormai prodotto in un’infinità di varianti, che comprendono dalle più disparate rifiniture e spessori alle diverse personalizzazioni richieste dal cliente: va ricordato, inoltre, che la MLM è da diversi anni licenziataria della americana ROMAG®, che detiene un particolare brevetto internazionale proprio per la chiusura magnetica. La MLM si è imposta anche sul mercato della moda, questo grazie ai recenti investimenti che le hanno consentito di produrre e commercializzare un vastissimo campionario ricco di proposte innovative.

Le offerte MLM oggi spaziano dalle fibbie più trendy, ai moschettoni, agli anelli per tracolle, alle chiusure per borse, borsoni e cartelle, ad ogni tipo di catena, sino agli accessori metallici più ricercati e particolari. Tra le ultimissime novità dell’azienda figurano anche accessori per altri settori, quali quello della nautica, del lavoro e della sicurezza, un comparto quest’ultimo in forte crescita, dove c’è spazio per la qualità e l’inventiva. Tutto questo mantenendo sempre carattere familiare e puntando molto sul rapporto coi clienti, cordialità, velocità di risposte e soluzione rapida dei problemi: questi i punti di forza ancora oggi della MLM MAZZOLA SRL.

Founded in 1970 as a small firm, MLM grew over the years to become by the early 80s the largest producer of magnetic fasteners for leather goods in the world; and then decided to innovate to keep up with the times and to meet the changing needs of the fashion market.

With a product range that runs from fashion articles to more technical items, this Lombard company has recently defined a number of strategic steps that have enabled it to consolidate its position as a world player. After the opening of a production unit in Leon in Mexico (ROBOR) and the subsequent opening of a commercial unit in Milan’s leather goods production area (by buying the old MINUMETAL), MLM has taken a further step forward with the acquisition of know-how and technology for the production of pins, studs and corner-pieces for bags and leather goods in general. This production, which is considered as technical, is matched by what has always been the strength of the company, the magnetic closure. This accessory, more and more important in modern production of bags, is now produced in an infinite number of variations, including many different finishes and thicknesses and also various customizations as requested by customers. It must be remembered, also, that for several years MLM has also been a licensee of the American brand ROMAG®, which holds a special international patent for its magnetic closure. MLM has become successful in the fashion world, thanks to recent investments that have enabled it to manufacture and market a wide range, rich in innovative proposals.

MLM today offers a range running from trendy buckles to carabiners, rings for shoulder straps, closures for bags, purses and folders, to all kinds of chains, up to the most sought after metal accessories and parts. Among the latest developments in the company are also accessories for other sectors, such as boating, work and safety, a strong growth in this sector, where there is space for quality and inventiveness. All this while maintaining a family basis and focusing on the relationship with customers, with friendliness, speed of response and rapid solution of problems: these are the strengths of today’s MLM MAZZOLA SRL.
