Patrick mavros is most at home in the african bush. He is a great storyteller, with the ability to bring the drama and magic of africa alive through his solid sterling silver sculpture and jewellery.
He founded his business in 1979, after making a pair of earrings for his wife, catja, which were greatly admired by her friends. Since then, he has created a number of signature pieces, including iconic sterling silver items of jewellery, silver game birds and some extraordinary silver table centrepieces, drawing inspiration from the african landscape, flora and fauna that surrounds him.
There are over 450 different designs in the Patrick mavros range, literally ranging from ants to elephants. each piece has its own story, adding considerably to its charm and, ultimately, its value.
Patrick and catja’s four sons are actively involved in the design, manufacture and administration of the business.
Patrick mavros has shops in Harare, London, mauritius and Nairobi and is africa’s best-known luxury brand.

a photographic artist and documentary camera-man focusing primarily on the wild places and creatures of africa, Graham does not consider himself a wildlife photographer in the true sense, but rather a photo-graphic artist who chooses africa’s wild places and the animals that live there as subject matter. He creates creative and visually engaging images that have true artistic credibility independent of subject matter.
Graham has spent most of the last decade in the wilderness of northern botswana and has worked very hard at creating a portfolio of images that represent the ineffable spirit of that remarkable place.

The Ndau collection is a Zimbabwean design house specialising in the creation of unique african jewellery and exotic leather accessories. based in our home studio of Victoria Falls, we are a collective of designers from Zimbabwe, brought together by our love of african culture, history and design.
each of our sterling silver, bronze or copper beads and fittings are made using the centuries old african lost-wax casting technique, handmade from beginning to end, resulting in a beautifully soft, curvaceous finish to our metal work that gives it the feel of the ages of history it represents. We combine these cast pieces with our wide collection of beautiful rare antique african Trade beads, semi-precious and precious stones, natural horn and bone, exotic leathers and treasures we find in our travels, to create our one of a kind jewellery and accessories. every piece takes several weeks to create and is hand worked throughout. each of our pieces is either unique, a bespoke creation or part of a limited edition run of especially selected castings.
The Ndau collection was formed in 1998 by current owner Gail van Jaarsveldt and Gill athestone, as a result of their great passion for african beadwork. Gill subsequently moved back to Harare and Gail was joined by her daughter christie Halsted as co-owner of the company and together they have grown The Ndau collection to where it is today. Pieces from the collection have found their way to all corners of the globe and the brand is fast gaining international recognition.

Or-gari Golden Safaris ambition is to craft products that represent South africa’s finest qualities of craftsmanship, design and simplicity.
The cultural values they embody, blend tradition, innovation and kindle a dream of a kept secret of the Golden Safari.
Or-gari Golden Safari has created two sub-brands, these are my rhino and The Dung beetle collection.
My Rhino is an anti-poaching awareness and fundraising initiative that sells beautiful ceramic rhino’s with a portion of the proceeds going to The endangered Wildlife Trust.
The Dung Beetle Collection embodies the african culture in each design. each of our candles tell a different story: the name, the perfume and the materials used are closely linked.
This collection becomes an object of decoration, an item that intrigues and fascinates each person from the art form, to the scent and texture of the soy organic wax.
Heidi and Nicholas Snaith, founders of Or-gari Golden Safari, both have a deep love of africa and its nature, with each of their pieces encapsulating the exquisite african wilderness.

Having dedicated much of the last 5 years to walking and observing in and around Table mountain National park, Olivers artworks emerged from consistent inquiry into the evolution of human consciousness and its relationship to the natural world. The resulting body of work intends to provide tools to connect to a collective perception of the environment and find new ways to enjoy and share the natural habitats that sustain and nourish life.
Over the course of time, distinct threads have unravelled to create autonomous sequences of images that inform each other in the creative process.
as the eye and technique integrate, a microcosm has emerged, into which we are invited to take a closer look at familiar and unusual aspects of the landscape. This work sets out to encounter abstract natural structures that stimulate an extra-sensory response, whilst allowing room for any free floating elements that may embellish the viewing experience.
Olivers awareness of the geometric principles that underlie the source material, an invaluable guideline when composing the photographs, is reflected in a way of life that celebrates and reveres being connected to and inseparable from the whole. in this way, the images intend to explore and unite scientific and spiritual realms to invoke balance in the way humans interact with nature.
“Gradually i have learnt that if we look at a plant, tree or rock closely enough, peel back its physical layers, study it without intellectualizing, we begin to connect to its essence, we enter a collective level of awareness. it’s a ritualistic process that sits at the core of these images.”
