Lupus, a man in his twenties with dark hair to the lengthof his shoulder and light green eyes, lays in bed and openshis eyes.

The sound of crowds talking and yelling can be heard fromoutside.

Lupus looks at the perfectly shut window, and covers hishead with blankets.

OUTSIDE NOISE"Mind yourself when you walk!"

"Quit stepping on my bloodyshoe, they are possibly moreexpensive than you if you were tobe on sale!"

"It wasnt me! And how terribly

    rude!"

    OUTSIDE NOISE (contd)

"Oi! Let us keep on moving, lads! You are causing trafficright here!... ...frankly though,he was probably right."

Lupus sighs as he gets up and walks to fetch his outfit.

His outfits are black breeches, white cravat, vest, hunting shirt, white stockings and such.

As he changes, we see a small room with both a single bedand a couch only large enough for two people. Next to thecouch there is a fairly small end table with a teapot and atea cup on it, a few papers lay around.

There are some decorations in the room as the overall colouris light yellow, the wall is supposed to be white althoughit turns light yellow over the decades and there are crackson the wall.

Lupus has to step across piles of books on the floor.

Lupus kicks a few books accidentally, books are called "TheHidden Secret of Biology" and "Reversed Bible".

A feather pen is also visible, in relation to somenotes that Lupus has written on the book.

Lupus does not pick the book up; he straightly walks to thebathroom that is on the right side of a rather shorthallway.

The doorbell rings. Lupus goes to open the frontdoor. The front door is just a few steps away from thebathroom.

Lupus opens the door, and a thirty years old-ish manstands outside the door with a box in hand. The man wearsbrown three-piece suits and a velvet hat, his shoes shiny.

The man bows and he hands over the box to Lupus.

THE SHOEMANGood morning, mister! Yournew shoes are here made toyour request,(hands over box) Howdo you do?

LUPUSThank you (takes over box). Oh,as usual. My time is so muchoccupied

THE SHOEMANOh, what do we have forplans today?

LUPUSTea party, as if that is all we do.You do get bored of something aftera little while, doesnt matter howmuch you loved it in the firststage.

THE SHOEMAN(grins a little) Wellmister, please dont mind me givinga little piece of advice: toenjoy life as much for it mightbe shorter than you wouldhave imagined.

    Lupus look a bit puzzled.

THE SHOEMAN(puts on a big fakesmile)Surely the new fashion willbring a little sunshine to thepresent. Good day, mister!

Lupus nods as the shoeman walks away, and closes the door.

Lupus puts down the box and walks into the bathroom. Thelid of the box comes off a little, and we can see his newshoes in the box.

Lupus walks out as his hair is nicely tied to the back andface washed and walks out of the apartment.

EXT ALLEY OF THE POOR, MORNING

Lupus walks on this very narrow way that can basicallyonly allow one person to pass at a time, however some peopledo squeeze themselves through as they head in theopposite direction.

Lupus have to often tilt his body to let people through,he greets three people on the way as they politely nod toeach other.

The buildings alongside the street mostly have six orseven storages and there are wet clothes hanging outsidethe window to dry, and through many windows we see pilesof stuff stack on top of each other.

Lupus turns into a slightly wider street where thereare people sitting on the sides of the street, many of themare beggars with children.

Lupus apologises to every beggar that he makes eye contactwith, and express his sympathy but slightly speeds up at thesame time.

A beggar drags the tip of his coat and begs for money.

BEGGARMister! Please mister! Ihave starved for days, please! Fearfor my life!

LUPUSI am terribly sorry, Ihavent any...

A beggar comes from the other side of the street.

BEGGAR 2Dont bother yourself with sucha cad! (spit on the groundnear Lupus) Soon he will be doomedjust like ourselves, as everyonewill be!

BEGGAR 3No point linger out afeeble existence for another day ortwo! Death is upon all of us!

BEGGAR 2It is coming to an end! Breath!and await!

    Beggar 2 starts to laugh.

  • 5.

Lupus is frightened by his blood red eyes and his skull-likejaw, and Lupus quickly walks away.EXT POLITICAL RALLY MORNING

Lupus turn into a political rally street, where it isa different scene from the alley he was at before.

There are no beggars on the street, however, the walls areoccupied with posters.

The posters have drawings of too many people crashing thestreet and houses, people dying in disasters, people dyingbecause there is no food left and resources to use, god layspunishment onto human as he is unsatisfied with humansbehaviour.

As Lupus walks, there are more posters come into view ashe scans through them.

More posters are dividing people into groups such as higherclass group, higher intelligence group, richer group and allthe other ordinary and poorer people on the street.

People have paint red crosses on the representative figureof the ordinary and the poor, as if they must beslaughtered.

The pictures get more graphic and violent on theslaughtering side, as drawings of stabbing, burning peopleare shown.

Lupus gradually walks toward this group of people thatare gathered around, and he hears a man gives a speech ashe walks closer.

The man stands on a box and is talking to people around him.

THE SPEECHMANI imagine us kind enough toeven give them a piece of land tostep on, why are we to shareour precious resources with them? For they are gangs of uselessmoron?! Never mind them providingnothing for the society! No money,no coal, no nothing. Having themlot slaughtered is the will ofour lord, if you ask me.

    CROWED(cheering)No mistake!

THE SPEECHMANI have no wish to do any harmto anyone, but if sides there mustbe, surely I wish to followthe footsteps of our lord. Ansupreme honour, to be one of theNEW GENERATION! As you all will be,let us eliminate the abominations, and live to see a brighter future!

Crowed cheered even louder. The speechman takes out bunchof badges out of his pockets, the badges had a sign of sunon it, and start giving them away to people around him.

People strive to be the first to get the badges.

A person stand next to Lupus forces a way into thecrowed and soon comes back with two badges in his hand.

STRANGE MANAy, mate! You are in good luck!

Strange man hands one of the badges to Lupus.

STRANGE MANSurely you wouldnt mind gettingme a pint or two for such gift.

LUPUS(looks at the badge, hesitatesto take them) By no means! But Iam afraid I will have to pass onthat, as I hold objection towardsthat mans opinion. Whatan unaccountable character, withsuch merciless thoughts!

STRANGE MANYou are joking me, mate? Iam struggling to think ofanything that is more proper thanhis thoughts...

An angry man pushes through in-between Lupus and thestrange man, Lupus is pushed to a side.

The angry man sees the two badges in the strange mans hand.He violently grabs one of the badges and gives an eye toLupus.

Angry man stumbles his way through the street as if heis drunk, and he tells a few older folks to shove off onthe way.

    STRANGE MAN(shrug shoulders) Suityourself mate.

Strange man walks away with a puzzled look on his face.

Lupus turns into the only road in the whole town that allowscarriages to go through.

    EXT THE ROAD, MORNING

Camera moves up and gives a gods eye view looking down atthe town.

The town looks like it has been squeezed together as all thehouses are extremely close to each other, and there aresmall alleys in-between that allow people to walk.

One big road in the middle that goes from one end to theother.

The colour of houses are mostly grey and white, peoples heads fill up all the street as they slowly move, but everyone is moving slowly, some are dying, others arecrying while some are fighting with each other. There isnothing positive in this town.

    CAMERA CUTS TO

Lupus walks on the big road, there are carriages passingthrough headed in both directions.

Lupus waves at a carriage however it was full. Hepatiently awaits.

The main road is the only shopping road and as it is theonly road that allows for carriage to go through. There areshops alongside the road that says food supply, clothing anddaily supply etc.

A few of stores are already shut down, and they are mostlybookshops, jewellery shops and such.Only one or two pubs still stand and pints there are lookedto be quite expensive.

Lupus looks to the right and sees a palace on the end of theroad. The palace is merely a golden shadow.

People wait for carriages on the side of the road. A shoesshinning boy walks out of the same alley as Lupus, and setsdown his tools next to him.

SHOE-SHINING BOYTwo pence, mister! Only twopence to spare!

LUPUS(looks down at his shoes, ithas had some dust/mud on italready even if it is new) Thankyou for the offer indeed, theres noneed for now. These are brand new.

Lupus tries to hide the foot that seems more dirty than theother.

Shoe-shining boy notices his shoes, but only nods and givesa slight bow.

Lupus awkwardly turns around to look for carriagesagain, luckily one stops for him as he waves.

Lupus quickly gets in the carriage not noticing the slightdark blue colour of the carriage.

    INT CARRIAGE, MORNING

Inside of the carriage, the curtains are closed tightlyand it is quite dark.

Lupus sits on the very edge of the seat and then he realisesthere is no one already inside.

Lupus repositions to the other side of the seat, opens thewindow and calls to the coachman.

LUPUSGood day! To the secondstreet please!

    No response heard.

LUPUSFrankly I havent feel sorather empty in a few years oftime!

Lupus politely laughs at his own joke, but still there is noresponse from the coachman.

Lupus is just about to speak again when thecarriage suddenly starts running.

Lupus closes the window but leaves the curtain up.

Lupus notices the newspaper placed on the seat oppositeto him, he picks it up and starts reading it. As he readsthe newspaper, we can see on the front page the title of"series mysterious murder with new victims", and a few linesof "four dead bodies were found in different houses neareleventh street, all middle-class single man who livesalone".

Underneath the news, at the right corner of the page, there is a small announcement with only a few sentencesstate that hundreds of homeless peoples body burnt on oneof the streets that causes massive traffic.

    Lupus quickly turns pages.

Lupus closes the newspaper and is about to put it back. The carriage starts shaking as soon as he does that.

Lupus loses balance and falls into his seat.

Lupus looks outside of the window but all he sees is brightwhite light, the light blinds him.

    Lupus yells for help.

LUPUSWhat is happening here! Stopthe carriage this instant! Jesusgood god! Oh my!! AHHHHH!

Lupus struggles to stand up. He bangs on the window loudlyand screams for help. The carriage shakes even harder as itjust flips.Lupuss back hits on the ceiling of the carriage hard, andhe falls back down smashes his face into the seat.

He manages opening the door though he steps into nothingwhen he tries to jump out of the carriage, when herealises he is falling is already too late to get backinside.

The doorknob snaps off the door and falls with Lupus.

    EXT OUTSIDE, MORNING

Lupus cannot see where he is exactly falling into.

He is surrounded by reddish-orange clouds and he seems to befalling into no end of the space.

Lupus tries to grab clouds though he does not succeed.

He flips and struggles to find a support point, but failsand he just manages a few silly dance moves.Lupus takes out his cross that he has hidden in his shirt,he closes his eyes and prays. Sweats pores off on hisforehead as he curl up his body and holds his cross close tohis mouth.

Lupus is particularly crying when he finally hitsthe ground.

    EXT MODERN FIELD, NOON

Lupus hits the ground with his head first, but he doesnot feel much pain.

Lupus lays there, looks up at the sky. The sky is a brighterblue than his town, as it is no longer grey-ish.

Lupus takes a few deep breathes as he tries to calm himself, but then he notices the air smells fresher.

Lupus stares at the clean blue sky before sitting up. Lupuslooks around and realises himself being on the massive fieldwhere he can see no end.

Lupus sits on grass. Lupus looks to the right and he seestrees, the trees seem to be growing freely on the fieldwithout any human interference.

Lupus looks around and sees only a few houses locatednearly too far away to actually see each other from itswindow, and they are only two storages and some are evenone.

Lupus notices some tall poles around connected with wires.

One of the houses is painted to pink, and the other one islight yellow, almost impossible to see in the sun. Eventhe white house does not have the old dusty feeling to it.

    LUPUSMust I be dead?

Lupus sits there as if he is waiting for a response, butno one answers. He stands up.

Lupus walks on the field, first he steps small just likewhen he was still in his town, afraid to step on things oreven people. After a few more steps, Lupus starts to walkmore freely.

His steps got bigger as he picks up his pace, he startsrunning.

    LUPUSThis must be heaven then.

Lupus closes his eyes and starts jumping and running. It gives Lupus such a fright when he hears the loud, high pitches sound of a horn blasting. Lupus opens his eyesand sees a car speeds through him as it almost hits him.

Lupus falls back onto the ground, he covers his ears.

Lupus opens his eyes again as the engine sound stops.

    DRIVER(slightly annoyed) Youalright, mate?

LUPUS(still in shock) Yes, well, Ido believe so, sir.

    Lupus stands up.

Lupus has an "unbelievable" expression on his face.

Lupuss voice slowly fades away as the car drives awayon the road.

INT PARTY HOUSE IN TOWN, NIGHT

Lupus and the driver open the door. Lupus is wearing thesame clothes, however his coat is now on the driver.

DRIVERNow this is what I call afucking party!

The driver walks into some of the groups.

Lupus looks around and sees only about half of the room isfilled, people are talking in different small groups. Thereis pop music playing in the background quite loudly.

Some are dressed quite the same as the higher societyfrom Lupuss time such as ladies with huge skirts andfancy headgears. Some are dressed as burgers and fries.

The driver walks straight towards the group of burgersand fries, and he does blend in even if he is wearingcompletely a different style costume.

Some stand in the corner and some in the center but noneof the groups are communicating with people from theother group.

LUPUSFrom his description of a partyI would have imaginedsomething slightly warmer.

Lupus walks towards the table and picks up a cake. He staresat it as he thinks of the situation back in his time and hesighs.

LUCIUSNot so much a fan of chocolate, are you?

Lupus hears a voice comes from his back, he turns.

    LUPUSMy apologies, sir...AHHH!

Lupus turns around and sees a face of himself.

Both him and Lucius scream the moment they see each other, and they both step back quickly.

Lupus hits the table as he does so and nearly knocksover the drinks and food on the table.

Lupus holds himself up with the table and tries to catchhis breaths.

He looks at Lucius and notices he is a short dark hairguy with a five oclock shadow. He simply wears a costumeof Lelio (The Lover) from Commedia Dellarte.

The costume seems very well made, as there are many finedetails and the fabric is moving softly as Lucius moves.

Only some people notice them, but none of them bother tointerfere.

The driver looks over and yells at Lupus. He only seesa frighten Lupus and Luciuss back.

    LUPUSWhy, yes thank you, sir.

LUCIUSI can hardly believe you spendthat much just on a costume, labourcost is much more expensive everyday now. It is all machines,no stitches with a soul.

    EXT THE TOWN, NIGHT

Lupus and Lucius walks on the street. The street is full ofhouses and buildings that are really old.

The houses are all distances away from each other, but Lupusnotices there are ruins and remains of other houses left onroad and in-between houses.

Some taller buildings are well constructed, some wererepaired recently, and other houses are untouched forhundreds of years. The door makes cranky sounds and wallspeeled off.

The road looks like it is big enough for five cars to passat the same time, but there are only one or two car pass attimes.

One of the taller buildings have automatic glass doors, itopens as Lupus walks past.

Lupus is frightened, he carefully steps back and the doorcloses again.

Lupus curiously studies the door, he walks closer to thedoor and it opens again.

Lupus walks in but discovers there is another door insideand it is locked. The name of the department store and hoursare printed on the door. There are also printed posters onthe door about sales.

One of the posters describes some items are only availableto customers with the VIP card. Example of the card isprinted on the poster, that has the design of a sun. Someother posters are notifications of things being out of stockpermanently and wait for further notice.

Lupus touches the poster to feel its texture.

LUCIUSWe really havent evolved much, tobe honest.

Some strangers walk on the street in the opposite direction.Lucius waves to one of them as the person slightly nods, hestares at Lupus for a few seconds but says nothing.

Lupus and Lucius reaches the center of town, where they aresupposed to turn.

Lupus stops as he looks up, there are five or six massivetelevision screens attached on the building.

One of the screens is turned off. Two of the screens arefilled with the image of a man, he looks at the camera andis saying things, he wears a really nice suit and his facialexpression cold. But the television is muted.

Later on the screen words typed filled the screen and itreads "speaking for the silent majority!" The words flashesand stays on the screen for a long time until the man showup again. Video loops.

Other one or two screens are random information aboutproducts and promiting programms.

Lupus sees the big statue in front of the building, which isof the same man that was in the video.

Lupus looks around at this big house, there are threebookcases and are all full of books.

There are more books on the floor as if they werethrow there without caution.

Lupus looks closer at the books, they are all books aboutbiology and virus.

There are a few paintings on the wall of the room, butthey are all weird paintings of organs and such.

The colour of the room is light blue and white, it has amodern but almost inhuman feeling to it.

Lupus walks further into the room and as he walks pastthe window he hears sound of pigs outside of the window.

He peaks through, there is a tiny farm with four pigs in it.

The pigs moan and they move around slowly and awkwardly. Oneof them lays there breathes deeply.

Lucius searches the bag to make sure the virus and thevaccines are in the bag. He stands up and looks at himselfin the mirror one more time, this time his hair seems to beslightly longer and his face skinner and paler.

Lucius does not seem to notice the change.

Lucius walks out of the bathroom into the living room again,he has the backpack on his back and he walks to search thedead body of the shoeman.

Lucius reaches one of the inner pockets of the showmansjacket, and he takes out a badge. The badge looks delicateas a pattern of the sun is carefully carved onto it.

Lucius puts the badge into his pockets. He looks at Lupussbody, tears on Lupuss face seem to be evaporated alreadyand there seem to be less blood near where the wound is.

    Lucius exists the room.

Luciuss attention is caught by sound of a man speakingloudly.

Lucius blinks, and sees the posters transform back to thecheerful posters about the new generation. The wall looksfine and no scratches or paints fall off.

He looks back and spots the crowd surrounds the speechmanwho gives a speech standing on a box.

Lucius walks closer and the speech can be heard.

The crowd cheers. Lucius stands in the back of the crowed.

THE SPEECHMANA strange method you have neverheard of or ever imagined! A giftfrom the above...

The speechmans voice fades even if Lucius stands in thesame spot.

Lucius shakes his head and he fetches a person in the crowd.Lucius takes out the badge for him to see.

LUCIUSDo you happen to know where this isfrom?

Lucius nods and thanks the stranger. Behind him the strangerquietly talks to his friend, and they both stare at the viewof Luciuss back as he walks away.

Lucius turns into the big road where the shops and carriagesare.

A few more shops located on both sides of the street areshut down including a food supply shop. There is no one onthe street anywhere, the street looks even dirtier thanbefore and there are piles of things left unattended ondifferent corners of the street.

The carriage approaches as the coachman looks down atLucius. The coachman dresses nicer than normal with dashingvest and coat.

The coachman looks unpleased as he cannot be bothered togreet Lucius.

LUCIUSGood morning, to the golden palace, please.

As Lucius gets in the carriage, a murmur can be heard fromthe coachman.

Lucius looks outside. The street has changed back to thelight grey wall with windows and doors. The wind stopsblowing.

Luciuss attention is caught by the coachman opening thedoor, he looks impatient as he waves his hand in front ofLuciuss face.

The coachman gives Lucius an evil eye behind his back. Thecoachman drives carriage away quickly.

Lucius stands in front of the massive golden double door, apalace like building with its roof reaches the sky.

There are no houses or people around the mansion, themansion itself is sitting in the middle of the empty field. It separates itself from the rest of the world.
