tThe “Solo Metal” line is made of sterling silver and sterling silver with 24K gold (when indicated). Pendants are available with either sterling silver chains (14”, 16”, 18”, 20” length) or leather cord with sterling silver ends and clasp. All the earrings are light weight.

Lasso Earrings measure about 2 ¼” in length.

Lasso Necklace measures about 40” in length including the pendants. It is also available in a longer size (50”) and slightly thicker chain.

The pendants are detachable and can be substituted with a toggle (included) to make a longer chain.

Lasso Ring top measures between 7/8” and 1 1/8” in diameter.

Spiral Choker measures 18” and it is adjustable; the central pendant length is 2 ½”; the earrings measure 7/8” in length.

Yin/Yang Earrings measure 2” in length and 1 ¼” in width.

SOLO METAL“Things Happen for a Reason” pendants are one of a kind. They are created using the reticulation technique, which randomly forms texture on the metal, resulting in a unique, unrepeatable piece. All these pendants are made of sterling silver and 24K gold.

Round pendants measure from1 1/5” to 2” in diameter.

Mesh Chokers are made of sterling silver mesh wire, which resembles a silver ribbon. It gently stretches around the neck, allowing acomfortable fit without being tight.

Mesh wire, ends, and clasp are made of sterling silver.

“Removable Tattoos” Anklets are enameled figures curved to fit the ankle. The figures are attached to a small sterling silver chain, barely visible. The result is that the anklet looks just like a tattoo.

The size of the “Tattoo” varies from 1” to 1 1/2”.

LU.PA designer Lucia Pasquinelli was born and raised in Rome, Italy, a land of art, history, and traditions. Coming from an artistic family and having been surrounded by a culturally rich environment, Lucia has always been creative and inclined to manifest her beliefs, which include respect and appreciation of life and of the environment. Her creativity is motivated by the desire for harmony within the world.

Her jewelry is made with the intention of highlighting nature’s beauty by turning natural materials into pieces that transmit the power of the metals and of the stones to the wearer.

All of her pieces are handcrafted exclusively of precious metals and may include gems, pearls, and other organic materials. Some of the stones are shaped by the artist herself. She applies various techniques when creating her jewelry and loves to play with the metals, altering their normal boundaries into unexpected manifestations.

Her company name, LU.PA, and her logo, the wolf, represent the centuries of history, culture, and tradition of her origins. The wolf has been the symbol of Rome since its creation, more than 2000 years ago, and LU.PA, besides being Lucia’s initials, is the Italian word for wolf.

Her training includes bench work with a professional jeweler in Rome as well as with master craftsmen in California. Lucia now lives in Los Angeles and is proudly associated with the Metal Art Society of Southern California, the Culver City Rock & Minerals Club, and the Venice Professional Jewelry Making Program.
