BEETHOVEN’S LIFE
Beethoven was born on the 16th of December in 1770, in
Bonn, Germany. As a child he loved music partially because his
father was a musician. At eleven years old he had a teacher by
the name of C.G. Neefe and at twelve published his first music.
It has been said that Beethoven became deaf from a disease
called Otosclerosis (a growth of a bone in the inner ear that
prevents the ear from working properly). It has been said by
many of his peers that he was a man of great ideas.
HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS
It has been said that Beethoven’s biggest
accomplishments were his symphonies, his
concertos, and his piano sonatas. Before his works
came to be, there was music that was non harmonic,
meaning they had no harmony what so ever, most
would call it boring or repetitive. Beethoven was
liked very much by his teachers and sponsors, but
many people could not get along with him because of
his anger. No one seemed to disagree with his works
IMPACT
Beethoven had musical talent, he proved that you
can be the best if you have talent, he inspired many
other great musicians after he died. During the
Enlightment, music was touched by his passionate
sonatas and symphonies that expressed romanticism
which challenged the calm classicism during his
time.
