once was, the town has become a popular lunch venue for Flamethrottle, Rodney’s resident man-eating dragon.

3: The Tower of Bauble Having spent the rest of the year surrounded by the pine trees of Crassly Forest, the people of Cranktown celebrate Christmas by hanging shiny decorations from this tower instead.

4: Bunnykins Mountains Named after the beloved pet rabbits of King Darren I, the range stretches from Mount Fluffles in the west to Mount Binky in the east, the highest peak being Mount Frisky.

Kingdom of Rodney Originally known as ‘Fwqxtkrghlstan’, but renamed ‘Rodney’ in 1537 since even the people that lived there were unable to pronounce the kingdom’s name correctly.

1: Castle Crackpot Designed by Queen Stacy in 1642, Castle Crackpot enjoys uninterrupted views of the Kingdom of Rodney and is just a cannon ball’s throw from the local shops.

2: Cranktown Although no longer the cheerful bustling community it

5: Kruddly Marshes Drab, dank and full of festering slime, the Kruddly Marshes are a favourite summer destination for flies and their families.

6: Vale of Squinty Don’t bother going there - it’s much further than it looks and hardly worth the effort.

7: Crassly Forest Three times winner of Golden Pine Cone Award for Best Kept Forest in Rodney, Crassly (Rodney’s only forest) would be an ideal picnic location … if it wasn’t downwind from the Kruddly Marshes and teeming with ravenous wolves.

8: Castle Krummy (Ruin) Knocked up at the weekends by King Terry II using some stone blocks that had “fallen off the back of a wagon”. Terry’s wife, Queen Stacy,

eventually persuaded him to abandon the project and get some ‘proper’ builders to construct Castle Crackpot instead.

9: Krummy Cavern (Flamethrottle’s Cave) The world’s only cheese mine, this vast cavern was excavated for more than a century until the people of Rodney realised that cheese had to be made rather than mined. The cave is now home to Flamethrottle the man-eating Dragon and houses an extensive collection of stolen treasure, mangled armour and bones.
