Emerge Ltd. PR and Publicity Agency (June – August 2016)

Emerge Ltd. started in 2012 in London, offering PR solutions to emerging brands and talent. Over 4 years, it has grown into a successful and respected PR agency, with a variety of fashion and lifestyle clients. Within a small, intimate team of enthustic and creative poeple, I took on a variety of tasks and roles over 2 months. Over 3 months I volunteered as a Teaching Assistant in Grade 3, 4 and 5 English classes, firstly at Weberbauer Schule (German founder) in Lima and secondly at Davy College in the rural Andean hills of Cajamarca. It was a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience to aid the learning of such wonderful and enthusiastic students. I also offered my assistance in afternoon classes with the Secondary Level students in their classes of Athletics, Music and Art which enrichened my experiences further.

Teach Argentina (July – December 2015) www.ecolonias.com

Over 5 months I taught English in 4 different Language Institutes in Argentina, including in Buenos Aires and Cordoba. I had sole responsibility taking classes of children, teenagers as well as adults, that required lesson planning, delivery of topics, marking tasks and exam preparation. I really enjoyed the range of age groups and abilities, which challenged my skills and teaching abilities.

Edgeborough Preparatoy School (September – December 2012)

During the first 3 months of my Gap Year between School and University, I worked as a ‘Gappy’ at my Prep School of Edgeborough, in Farnham, Surrey. I helped with a variety of duties around the school, within the Classroom, Boarding House and on the Sports field. It was a great opportunity to gain some teaching experience in a familiar, welcoming environment and to earn some money to take onwards on my travels around South East Asia, Indionesia, Australia and New Zealand.
