Edible Image decorations are flat-printed edible designs that can be applied to many food items, such as cakes, cookies, even ice cream cakes. The decorations consist primarily of starches and sugars in the edible base. They are preprinted with edible food colors that retain color clarity and resist color bleeding, even on high moisture applications. The Edible Image decorations absorb moisture from the food product and become soft, melding with the food item and cutting easily. A variety of Edible Image decorations have been developed to allow for use in a broad range of applications. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified.

Developed to bring design to the side of the cake, Designer Prints decorations match up from strip to strip and can easily be wrapped around your desserts.

Typically applied to the top of a cake, the standard format of Edible Image decorations is available in many sizes that are perfect for decorating cakes ranging from 5 to half sheets.

Small format Edible Image designs are available for your little desserts. Sizes are listed to help guide you to the right format for your product.

Minis 2 1/4 rounds are perfect for cookies or single serve items

Petites 1 1/2 rounds are sized just right for cupcakes or small cookies

Embellishments Range in size from 1 1/2 to 5 and are designed as a variety of contoured images to help you embellish your desserts

Designer Prints sheets are perfect for Cake Crafting and can be cut into shapes and pieces or applied to fondant, gumpaste and SugarVeil to create uniquely patterned bows and plaques.

Both chocolate colored and flavored, Designer Prints for chocolate allow you to add design to all types of chocolate icings, even soft icings like buttercream and non-dairy whipped topping.

Shimmer Ribbons look like satin ribbons but are completely edible. The ribbons measure 1 wide by 10 1/2 long. They are printed with edible shimmer for a finish that truly sparkles.

Print-Ons sheets are blank Edible Image decorations specially formulated for printing the highest quality photographs and graphics. Like all Edible Image decorations, Print-Ons sheets meld into the icing and cut easily. See page 118 for more information.

Pipe delicate ruffles using a #115 large leaf tip before attaching the crafted floral centerpiece to this cake. To create the flower, first roll a 1.5 fondant ball as the stamen, and then use the rounded ends of teardrop cutters to imprint a stylized rose pattern. Attach two courses of plain fondant teardrop-shaped petals (rounded side up) to the ball, before attaching petals that have been dressed with Designer Prints sheets.

The intricate pattern in the Doily Designer Prints allows this stylish cake to be decorated easily. Pipe the trim around the bottom of the strips using two tones of light blue icing, white icing and #5 round tips. Use these same colors for the stamen of a basic ribbon-style fondant flower.

Use Designer Prints strips in both traditional and crafting applications to create this soft, romantic tiered cake. Apply prints end-to-end to a single strip of fondantthe length will depend upon your desired flower diameterand then easily coil the strip, gathering at the base to create the final blossom. Finish the flower with a fondant centerpiece. Pipe fanciful rosettes on the top and bottom tiers using a #5S open star tip.

This unique dress cake requires 4-5 strips of Houndstooth Black Designer Prints decorations. First, design a paper template to help shape a quarter sheet cake into a dress. Next, ice the bodice pink and the skirt white. Apply Designer Prints to the side of the cake with a horizontal orientation (a single strip for each side). Use the template to gauge the curvature of your top Designer Prints application, and cut the appropriate silhouettes while the strips are still on their backing sheet. Finally, peel and apply the top Designer Prints, and add your finishing touches.

This chic design is easy to create. Just wrap Chandelier Designer Prints around the side of the cake and add Pink Royal Icing Roses. Keep the colors simple with the elegant use of pink, black and white. Pipe stems and scallop border in black, using tube #4.

Roll out 1/8 fondant coils in contrasting colors and attach them with a touch of water to the base of your cake in a random continuous pattern. Cut out a fondant face using a small oval cutter, and roll two easy arms, delineating only the thumbs to avoid fumbling with finger counts. Pipe the bodice, dress and borders using #5 round tips, and pipe hair and dots on the top of the cake using #3 round tips.

Cut down on piping time by airbrushing the shape of a baby one-piece on the top of your cake. First, lightly etch the desired design in the icing using a food grade paint brush, and then airbrush. Finish with the outline, piped with a #4 round tip. Airbrushing first prevents outline blowout and saves your sanity.
