Grade FW-3361 is a water-based, forging lubricant that contains microfine graphite and special EP additives. The lubricant is designed to forge difficult, war or hot ferrous, nonferrous and super alloy metals. The unique difference of Grade FW-3361 is its ability to wet disks that are hotter than usual. It can be used on dies with temperatures from 250 to 1,000 “F (121~538°C). This heavy-duty lubricant provides outstanding metal movement and superior antisolder properties for the most demanding of forging operations. It provides superior release proper- ties and works where other lubri- cants can’t. This makes the system far more reliable and accurate than other designs, and provides contamina- tion-free liquid level sensing. It’s ideal for use with mixers, fillers, water treatment, CIP systems, elec- troplating, separators, and many other applications requiring accu- rate, trouble-free level control.
