Consortium of School Networking (CoSN) partnered with Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society to develop a school district privacy toolkit as a PD resource for educators
Fayette County Board of Education, created “Web 2.0 Tools, Ages, and Terms of Use” webpage, features the most widely used applications with details on terms of service, age limits, parental permission requirements
Teachers can inform their students about available resources to help them be more aware of their digital footprint or better yet teach it!
NetSmartz Workshop, 12 NetSmartzKids, 123 and PBS Kids, Webonauts, and Internet Academy 124 are a few websites teachers can use to show students how to stay safe while online
