• We project-managed a study on the causes of violence in Southern Sudan. Its findings are being implemented by governments and NGOs

Evaluating civil society engagement

• We assessed how well AusAid is helping civil society to contribute to the development of effective states in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the Philippines

Health care in Turkey

• We assessed the efficacy of a new inhaler in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and gave a budget impact analysis of the product

Catalan Observatory

• We set up the Catalan Observatory, an international platform to share knowledge about the issues facing Catalan society and create links between Catalonia and the world

Public spending priorities

• Our report for the Greater London Authority analysed the pattern of public spending in London compared to other regions, arguing for increased spending autonomy

We design and run executive education programmes

Training Foreign Office diplomats

• We have run intensive Economics for Foreign Policy programmes for over a thousand staff in Whitehall and around the world

Managing reform in Libya

• Our 11-week programme in Libya and London prepares Libyan civil servants to design and manage a sweeping range of reforms

Regulation

• Our open-access course on international regulation has been running for over a decade

A term at LSE

• Four cohorts of Basque students have spent ten weeks at LSE undertaking specialist postgraduate study and mingling with LSE students
