From the Senior Regent
Greetings From Your Senior Regent,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all that have birthdays this month. Wow, here it is February already. I want to thank everyone who came out and showed their support for our Moose Riders Chili Cook Off. Congratulations to the ones going to Shuckers to represent the Tallahassee Moose Lodge. Remember we are Moose and we are Moose Proud! It makes me very proud to be a member of this fraternal organization. Family, that's what it's about. Giving back to and showing your support for your fellow WOTM co-workers, families of our members, and of our LOOM members. With that be-ing said, Thank you to all that showed your support for our co-worker Barbara Mortier's fundraiser. For giving your time with open hearts, again THANK YOU! I want to let you know that the WOTM's Pink Pig will be around the Lodge more often. So drop your loose change in to help support whatever charity or member that is in need. The WOTM has decided to put together a cookbook with proceeds going to our lifetime member, dear friend and coworker, Roberta Davis. So please get your recipes together. Please see Dawn Mackland who will be handling this WOTM project. Thank you Dawn for taking this on.
~VOLUNTEERS~VOLUNTEERS~VOLUNTEERS~ Yes we all know how much our Lodge relies on hard-working dedicated volunteers that help out every day again and again. This month the WOTM volunteer of the month honor goes to a very hard-working and dedicated person that has stepped up tremendously this past month with an open heart. She brings a lot of talent to our lodge. The honor goes to: CORRIE VERNICK. Thank you !!

Greeting From the Tallahassee Moose Riders
We have started the year out with a bang! We would like to thank every-
one for the great turn out for the Moose Riders Chili Cook-off. It was
great to see all the support!
1st place winner - Clark Metcalf
2nd place winner - Casey Hightower
3rd place winner – Donna Gandy
All of the winners were offered to be sponsored for the Road Runners
15th Annual Chili Cook-off. Due to circumstances some winners gave up
there spots to other members. We would like to wish all sponsored mem-
bers the best of luck!!
With the numerous donations for our Booze Basket we were able divide
it up and have 3 winning baskets. Thank everyone for their generous dona-
tions.
One of our many goals for the Moose Riders for the new regime was to
organize rides and we have successfully completed our first. We gathered
and rode out to Cooter’s Stew in St. Marks. If you are interested in our
upcoming rides please let us know. The Moose Riders will also be hosting
the 1st Annual SPAM Cook-off on February 17th from 3 to 5. The entry fee
per dish is $5 and $2 to taste and judge. This will be a SPAM of a time and
hope to see everyone there.

ATTENTION WOTM MEMBERS GOOD NEWS – Tallahassee Women of the Moose has some exciting incentives for you to
invite your family and friends to join you as a member of the Women of the Moose.
Each month January through April 2018 the WOTM member who enrolls the most new or
reenrolled WOTM members will receive a free meal from the Women of the Moose.
At the end of the four month period the WOTM member who has sponsored the most new
and reenrolled WOTM members will receive a $50.00 PUBLIX GIFT CARD.
As an extra incentive at the end of the four month period for each WOTM application re-
ceived the WOTM sponsors name will be placed in a random drawing for a $25.00 Gift Card.
As you consider who to ask to join the Women of the Moose remember it’s more than a
name on an application. We want members who believe in our ideals and purposes and who
will join us in our support of Tallahassee Chapter 1103, Lodge 1075, and Mooseheart and
Moosehaven.
