The fastest growing bank in Japan exists only on a phone. Facebook is eyeing the payments space, as is Amazon. Bitcoin has even been acknowledged by the Federal Reserve to be a viable virtual currency. In the world of finance, there is a fixed base of deposits. But now more entrants are competing with established players for this same payments base by leveraging existing IT and scale. How can you compete, while safeguarding against fraud in an environment changing monthly? The

payments industry is becoming the BIT industry (banking, information, technology), powered by mining data and offering personalized services delivered on an increasingly mobile platform. This session demonstrates how to offer innovative new products and services that fit consumers’ chang-ing needs, while safeguarding against potential fraud.
