Alunox quality and design

Manufacturing process and materialsOur silencers are specifically designed for the Evora and it is manufactured to precision standardsthroughout the production process - welding, fabrication and materials. We therefore confidentlyoffer the usual Alunox 12 month guarantee on both our workmanship and the materials we use.

• All tubes are mandrel bent providing smooth internal surfaces which greatlyenhance flow rates above the factory product.

• Purged Tig welding used throughout construction maintains quality, flow and finish.

• The tube sections are coupled using high only precision Alunox V-band clamps foraccuracy and precise fitting.

• Complete system fabricated in dedicated jigs for repeatable and consistent quality.

• Silencer is fed via a flexible coupling to eliminate vibration and resonance - a mustfor supercharged engines.

• Silencer uses dual-pass, perforated tubing - efficient flow rates through out rev. range.

• Maximum noise reduction is achieved by using Inconel wire wool and 850 degree exhaustpacking which eliminates burnout from the silencer.

The Evora silencer systems provide a combination of noise reduction, advanced flow

design and high visual appeal. The driver is able to switch between two noise levels

using the Helicol exhaust valve. Additionally the unique shape of the silencer provides

a visually attractive system that will be a significant addition to your vehicle.

The silencer system for the normally aspirated Evora comes in two sections;1. the rear silencer which will fit to the existing pipe 2. the replacement middle section.Both parts are constructed from Stainless Steel - Grades 304 and 316. The middle section is constructed from54mm stainless tube of equal length design to enhance pulse tuning and comes complete with a flexiblecoupling to reduce resonance.

Each item is a direct replacement for the factoryoriginal without modifications and all the standardmounting brackets can be retained. As with all oursystems this free flowing design is furtherenhancement over the factory original. Tail pipes areavailable, at extra cost, in either polished StainlessSteel or Carbon Fibre – please state your choicewhen ordering.

Exhaust ValveOur silencers use only Helicol Technology’s exhaust valves in both theStainless Steel and Titanium systems. These valves have the reputation ofbeing the best on the market and are a proven component in all ourexhaust systems. The valve operates under vacuum and be wired to operatefrom a key fob or directly from a switch.
