Despite the loss, the Dodgers’ third in a row, Los Angeles has won eight of its last 11 against the Astros and holds a 388-321 advantage in the all-time series. Following the weekend series, the Dodgers have an off-day Monday before concluding the trip with a three-game series at Cincinnati Tuesday-Thursday. This weekend’s matchup features the top home run-hitting clubs from each league with the American League-leading Astros (166 HR) and NL-best Dodgers (148 HR). Los Angeles opened the trip by being swept in a two-game series at Oakland and has gone 8-7 against American League clubs this year.
