Following on from the video clip – Can you make the rocket you designed in writing? You can choose what to make it from, it could be lego or cardboard boxes you decide. Create a space picture as the setting for your rocket and the characters. When they are finished you can use these to act out the story – Record it on seesaw for us to share when we return. Can you create an alien meal – what ingredients will you use – what will you call your dish – Share photos of you making it Can you make a list of alien words using your sound mats eg blark, blong etc
Remember to: - Keep reading daily – Can your grownups ask you questions about the story. Can you retell the story in your own words? Can you describe the characters and setting?
Keep working on the trigraphs and digraphs on your sound mat – Make lists of words and sentences using these. Websites to help with these are – Alphablocks and Geraldine the Giraffe - type
these into the search engine along with the sound you are covering.
