What should you limit ?
5 EASY STEPS TO READING A FOOD LABEL 1) what is the serving size ? 2) how many calories ? This is how
much energy you get from the serving.
3)Look at the % DV – percent of daily value. It tells you if there is a little or a lot of that nutrient in the serving. A higher number means more. 40% is high, 5% is low
4) Get less of these Fat, saturated fat cholesterol Sodium ( salt) 5) get more of these
carbs,fibre,vitiminA and c, calcium , protein, iron.
