gyWell done to all Year 7 students that entered the recent competition to create a afact file documenting the ‘Beast from the East’ extreme weather event we experienced in the in the winter of 2018. There were over a 100 entries, and therefore making it very difficult to pick a winner! In the end, Mrs Khoo managed to narrow it down to 5 winners. Congratulations to the following students, you will receive your Amazon gift vouchers by the end of this term.

On the following slide there are some pictures of the winning entries!

YEAR 11 – Sixth Form Transition Work

Transition work for all subjects will be on our website www.astreasixthformstneots.org under ‘Our courses’ from Monday 1st June.

These resources provide an excellent opportunity to get prepared for A level and BtecLevel 3 study from September. Each subject has ensured that there will be a range of activities and tasks for students to complete and bring with them to their first lessons in the new academic year.

Although this is a vehicle for promoting independence and good learning habits, it is fine for students to contact the head of department for advice or support if necessary.
