LPMS uses the computerized STAR reading test to determine student reading levels
Renaissance Place is an online version of Accelerated Reader (AR)

Identify a need that the library can impact: Student Achievement in reading
Collaboration: Working with all the teachers in the building to create a culture of reading
Data Driven Instruction: knowing exactly where to help our students
LPMS SMART Goals
1. Students will obtain a years growth in reading. This will be assessed by STAR reading scores.
2. All students will set quarterly goals in Accelerated Reader based on their STAR scores to help them attain a years growth in reading.
