Getting startedWelcome to the Longman Economics Online Self-study and Assessment Centre (SAC)!

SAC is designed for the New Introductory Economics Series. It provides teachers with tools such as test reports and analysis to assess students’ learning progress. Teachers can arrange tests for students; students can also test their understanding of key concepts by doing the exercises in the Self-study Corner.

This user manual is mainly divided into two parts:1) Teacher login (Fig. 1) — describes the procedures for creating tests and viewing students’

test results and analysis.2) Administrator login (Fig. 1) — describes how to manage the database.

How to obtain SAC login informationUsers must acquire their user names and passwords before they can access SAC. The instruction for downloading SAC user accounts will be mailed to your school at the beginning of each school year. It will guide you to download Excel files containing login information for administrators, teachers and students.
