Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
This Ofqual accredited Level 7 qualification has been developed by senior university professors, utilising current academic learning and research, as well as employer knowledge and practice. The programme helps in providing details on management practices and strategy in today’s dynamic business environment.
The Level 7 Diploma in Business Management is comprised of five units:-• Strategic Business Management and planning (20 credits)• Management of Financial Resources and Performance (25 credits)• Leadership, Change and People Performance (25 credits)• Corporate Strategy, Governance and Ethics in the Global Environment (25 credits)• Research Methods and their Application to Marketing (25 credits)
The programme is in compliance with QCF guidance and regulations applicable to qualifications accredited by Ofqual. On successfull completion of Stage 1, student is graduated to Stage 2 which enables the student to complete his final stage of MBA Degree.
Student on completion of Stage 1 would be awarded Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.
Masters in Business Administration
This final stage online top-up programme is a natural progression from the stage 1 above. The Northampton Business School MBA is an internation-ally recognised postgraduate qualification in management. This programme combines excellent generalist management teaching and learning with highly valuable additional recognition, qualifications and activities.
The programme has been designed to enhance the knowledge and skills developed during previous postgraduate business or management study. As a Masters Programme, the course is demanding both in terms of the rigour and associated workload and so will require commitment and dedication from participants. The MBA enables participants to consider issues in an organisation wide or total business context. Skills in analysing business and organisational problems are emphasised.
The focus of the programme is in developing strategic thinking within an organisation. The ability to recognise and exploit opportunities and the development of strategies and plans to cope with managing change are addressed. Course members will be instructed in management research techniques appropriate to Masters degree level learning to enable them to fulfil the demands of the course assessment scheme and, in particular, satisfactorily complete a business research project.
